Yes, I also can't often shoot the right ramp. It's hard. Most times the ball rolls back.

But with Multiball, Super-Multiball and some Extraballs I've got a nice personal highscore. :-)

Pfff. I'm sure you have 10 x that score as a pic already, just waiting to post saturday to let me down once again ;-)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

My high-score so far.... 4.753.605.700

The right ramp is very difficult so I just play...multiballs, extraballs, etc.

The DedRok_v score is impossible to pass  :otvclap:

Right ramp.  I have same issue.  If you hit it cleanly, the ball completes the right ramp, but a lot of time it goes up, slows and rolls back down.  I wonder if it is hitting something on the way up...

That is weird - your talking about the voulcano right ? Either I hit it cleanly almost every time or there is something weird going on for some of you. I very seldom do get it back.

Update : 2 mill - 63 thousand something small ... not even half of Clyde and some percentage of the Australian. :/ Guess I need to focus on getting that German first and foremost :) <3

Can't seem to get MB going like you described DedrRok_V. Flipper angle isn't very steep.

Btw. You other "top scorers" - have you tweaked slings ? I'm playing with the default table and drain quite a lot because of it.

Right ramp is indeed very difficult. Only manages to get 1 out 10 or something. Also noticed that the kickback is really important. Twice my ball was faster than the kickback could save it :(.

Still not making big scores but getting the hang of it... I will be satisfied with 2 mio and the highscore on diamonds caught...

No, I didn't tweaked the table. Playing the original one!

No, I play with the original settings. I test the change of the slingshots, but I go back. With the original settings I score more points.:-)
And the right ramp is curious. Some players haven't any problems to shoot? Maybe they have better eyes or a better reaction? ;-)
I shoot through the ramp 3 of 10. :-(

Ive have notice before that the time of the flippers held changes the shots.

For example hold ing flipper button in as you shoot can miss ramp shots as in Bad Cats and Congo, whereas flicking the flipper button slightly produces a much cleaner shot.

Just the same as if doing a tap pass - quick tap vs full power.

I also notice the same when playing real pinball and always play some with flick of the button.

Ok

Have just spend the day out downloading, so can try congo vpx and hope it runs well enough. Got updates of programs and tables.

So more install and setup time. :otvclap:

Keep getting script errors for Congo vpx.

So 2 hrs in playing a normal game as I can't keep hitting the ramp, and skillfire wrecks the game with balls missing.
Add balls to trough, remove balls from trough and eventually get going again, only to have balls spit out of the volcano.

Last 3 xtra balls ruined and look at how close to my score.
I'm done with this one.

what script error do you get then DedRok_V ? Maybe we can help you get up and running ??

Talking about problems. I wonder if anyone has experienced that the right flipper sometime dies when the ball comes out for the mystery kicker ? Congo is the 3rd game I've noticed this happening on. From before I've seen it on twd and mustang but there it seem to happen andomly - not related to a kicker like here. The odd thing is that I've seen it on my other computer as well.

I didn't find any scripts errors. The only issue that I found on Congo was the kikcback problem when the ball is too fast.
The kickback can't react and you lost the ball.

Hmmm. I haven't experienced any errors. I'm on the latest vpinmame and B2S from DJRobX, and the latest VPX 10.2.

DedRock's score is amazing, especially considering he's battling scripting errors in addition to fighting his way through the jungle! :D

I also can't find these errors. No script-errors and the right flipper work as he should be.
OK, one or two times the ball was to fast, so he rolls over the kickback ans was los.

@DedRok_V
It seems, you don't have the latest scripts or you have multiple scripts. Delete all scripts in the table-folder. You can put all scripts in the scripts-folder in the VP-folder.
If you have different folders for VP9 and VPX, leave the scripts under VP9 and make a hardlink in the VPX-folder.
So you only have to update later only one folder and all versions are working.
