I don't want to start anything here, just asking a simple question.  Would it be possible to list the upload date or something that would tell use when a test table has been updated?  It's getting real hard to keep up with changes even doing my best to follow the vp10 and vp testing threads. :hmm:

I do normally keep a changelog for mine and keep any information from the Table edits & Game code separate.

But it's a good point though. All that information tucked away inside the tables doesn't really give a lot of usage outside of the editor. Where else has it been used?

I even tried again today to use a 7z library to open a .vpt or .vpx and pull that "TableInfo" folder, so it can be used in my app to pull all Author and table information and added to xml.

Lol waffling on a bit, but you've just reminded me of something else that would be nice!

I like how you put a screw through it for realism but didn't address the fact that the D and the F are floating in midair!!!

Spent nearly 3 hours to try to find a way to fix the ball appearing through the light on the VP logo when getting drained. No success. Any ideas?

I had one crash during the week-end when the ball was getting drained, the only crash I had on my WIP.

Going to "steal" some script from some tables to speed up the process as I find it a bit silly to rewrite stuff that has already been written. JPSalas(Papa Smurf) or Lodger(G&G). Any objections or can I go for it? (mainly for the score, tilt, 4 players and table init)

Worked a bit on light show effects and I've to say that Fuzzel and Toxie did a great job with the new lightning stuff. Some nice potential out there. :otvclap:

I agree. If you can give me a couple of days, been working crazy overtime and unfortunately not much time for forum tending, but I will be getting this done for sure.

Cool, I know how the OT goes 118 hours last week 72 so far for this week. I'm getting real sick of seeing the ass end of an ambulance! ;)

JP has updated Nascar and Monopoly to v1.04.

Yes, but there are just the FS settings by fuzzel, and fixed 2 typos in the fading light script, which are not used in the tables (thanks to Kiwi for finding those two typos). I didn't wrote anything about those updates since they don't have much to do with how the actual tables play.

Hey JP,  are you going to update that AFM you did for the VP10 alpha way back when?

No. I have done and redone that table so many times already that I don't feel to make it again. Anyway you all have all you need to rebuild it yourself :) Graphics, scripts, old versions... :)

The same goes for my other tables: use what you need, copy/paste all you need and rebuild them with the right sizes. I'm retired from vpm building, but I'm still here, so ask if you need some help :)

I feel like a dinosaur, I still play VP with one screen, desktop only, and I don't know anything about dof, db2s, building 3D objects, etc. I feel that more and more people want cabinet versions, and I can't make those.

I see many authors making wip tables for Vp10 and think the future of VP10 looks very good! :) I'll keep building but it will be very few tables, some EM's and mostly originals, something I haven't done much before.

Great news JP about EMs. Just a suggestion. You did a Balls-a-poppin years ago, maybe that it a possibility? The best EM multi-baller in my opinion :)

As long as you continue making -any- kind of table JP, everything is fine with me..  ;)

And i don't think that its so important to just make FS tables, i would bet that enough people would happily help you out with tweaking the final bits for a FS version.

I personally play as much on my cabinet as i do on my laptop/tablet (its more convenient ;)).

just a heads up: a new beta version is available in the beta thread. It fixes the crash on MOTU and hopefully the annoying crash on Nascar. If you get a crash you will find the crash.dmp and a crash.txt file in the same folder where you've loaded the table. Pack these files and send them to us. We can then try to reproduce the crash much faster.
