Well, if you are curious, it is technically possible to revise this 1.04 release to B2S and use the existing B2S backglass from Rosve.
I tested it with the last version of VP912 and it runs well, but I get some graphic lines from some reel placements.
My test box is a dual screen machine running winxp svc pack 3, 4GB ram, E5800 3.2gHz with 1GB nVidia.

Tipoto if you want to test it, I can send you a link.
Terminator 2 - Chrome Edition FS MOD (VP913) - v1.04 with B2S.

I wonder if its a performance issue with VP 9.13, as I remember Jimmy Fingers commenting on that. Didnt Cupid or Toxie say its possible 9.13 was compiled for older processors and that could affect fps? Wondering if we can get a version compiled to take advantage of i5's

BTW,

Can we add B2s to this? I see in the script there is a spot to enable it. I tried but it didnt work.

Tipoto, not only is your table stunning, your dedication to keeping it updated and even improved is really impressive, thanks for putting the effort. :)

Huh, that's interesting. Might be false hope, but would be nice if not. :P

About B2S: This version is not designed to work with the current B2S table (which is a temporary release), but it will work with the new upcoming B2S system that Herweh is working on. The option you see in the script enables the "B2S.server" which is necessary for this new system.

oh i have that enabled maybe that's why i get stutter

edit - that's what it was changed to static bg now it's as smooth as silk

Cool! Is the problem completely fixed for you? If so, all the persons having stutter problems should double-check this option and make sure it's set to 0 (talking about B2s option in the script)

The current b2s version is actually the 1.03 with just some little changes in the script to allow the communication between the table and the b2s exe file (Rosve version).

I did the v1.04 starting from a version without those changes in the script! I did it because I use this version to work on the new b2s backglass which works differently.
Because of that, you get an update but you lose the backglass... Sorry about that!

You can of course tweak the script by yourself to make it work with the current b2s backglass, but I will see with Herweh if I can upload a temporary version of the new one (which will be redone from scratch soon), but at least you will have something. ;)

Downloaded and gave a quick spin on this T2 table (which seems to be running fine for me now BTW, maybe a reboot after upgrading VP helped or something). This isn't exactly rigorous testing, but just going by the F11 "FPS" counter the rev 336 build was giving me a good 25% performance boost over the standard 9.1.3 build. :)

We'll see if that holds up across the board, and it's hard to know how much to trust that counter, but that's not a bad improvement, thanks! (Edit: this is on an i5 chip BTW)

Not to discourage you from working on it, your effort deserves the full package, but the backglass for this table isn't exactly essential, pretty sure we can live without it while you do it properly. ;)

Thanks Codeena!

He saw a glitch on one texture, when the flasher close to the left bumper was flashing... There was an ugly line!
here is the fixed version:
Bumper1.png

You have to go in the menu Table/Image manager, then select the texture called "Bumper1.png" then click onto "Reimport from" and pick the new version.

Does anyone else have a heck of a time hitting that skull lock? It seems no matter what I do I cant hit that thing for my life in this version of the table.

Yes, this is the hardest shot. The best way to hit it, is to use the right flipper, lock the ball and shoot early. You can do it with the left filpper too, but it's super hard.

Btw, make sure you play the latest version (v1.05), there were significant changes in the game play, since v1.03

The link is still active and works, but you don't need to replace the texture anymore, the texture has been replaced in v1.05.

I cant remember but I dont remember seeing this glitch before (maybe due to using the latest nightly 442), but right above the flippers there is a mess up.  When I flip left/right/left/right I see a few pixels moving above the drain hole.  This is such a perfect table in the looks and its playability that I want it perfect again :)

^^

Funny because I was just about to post the same thing...

A small area moves where the 'AUTO FIRE' light is on the playfield, just right above the flippers. It happens when the flippers are activated and also when there is a lot of flashing going on. I wonder how come I didn't notice this before but yesterday I just saw it and ever since my eyes always get drawn to that area :)

This is completely due to the temporary version of VP (442 or whatever), it doesn't happen with the official version VP9.14. I'm super picky with the graphics and be sure that I wouldn't let any glitch like that on my table.

I mentioned it several times but I don't know if it will be fixed. It's exactly what happened when they released VP9.14, they messed up the EMreels system for no reason, I had to fix a lot of textures, and now it's happening again with VP9.15...

I don't know if I will fix it this time, it takes forever to do it.

I wish they created a topic about VP9.15, but it seems they don't want to hear to much about the problems and be free to do whatever they want...

Btw, all the table are affected by this problem of course, but I guess people don't really care if some textures are 1 pixel shifted (except me of course ;) )

Well, I don't think that is fair Tipoto. There is no official 915 release and the use of these are akin to "buyer beware". During the beta phase of programming, which 915 certainly is since its not officially released, stuff is broken all the time. Sometimes table designers want to use the new features so they try and use the new builds but that can unfortunately caused some issues with existing tables, but very important here, this is all good intention and no ill intention. If 915 is released officially as is, then I can see your point but right now, as I said, I don't think it's fair.

Of course with this in mind, there is nothing for you to fix at the moment, this is not your fault or problem.

Edit: a 915 thread wouldn't be a bad idea

I'm just seeing the same thing happening than what happened with VP9.14. Someday you have a new version available in the download section and you have to deal with it.

However, a few days ago, Koadic sent me a special version after a comment I did on another thread. It didn't work either, so I let him know... Then nothing...

I think a thread about the coming 915 is really important, that way we can help to discover and fix all the bugs.
