Just had a incredibly good game but when I reached 1,700.000 Midnight madness kicked in, I forgot about this hidden feature which awards 4 balls for 1 minute at midnight.

The question is are scores which feature midnight madness allowed?

I'm gutted that I played so late cos I was on for a really good score without help from midnight madness.

How about using non-midnight madness scores for selecting next weeks table.  But go ahead and post your Midnight Madness scoress.  I am sure plenty of people will try that mode out now that you have mentioned it :)

I was updating the first post with the winner and next game and I missed Joey2001 score of 82,361,690.  Congrats Joey2001! I did not ignore your score, just too many posts this week

673 Million so far.  The slings were too sensitive for me, so I did adjust the LSlingshot and RSlingshot hit threshold from 1 to 3.  Fun table - lots of multiball

Congo has Mignight Madness? Didn't realize that. Maybe just declare MM vs non MM when posting score (?) I'm at 1.1 billion so far -- non MM. Have some work to do to catch up to you guys!

You do know that Midnight Madness can be disabled, right?

If not go into the rom menu system, go to A2 Feature Adjustments then go to option 14 - Special Mode.  Set this to NO to turn Midnight Madness off.

Again .. would someone post a short "how to kill the machine"? Rules are one thing, but sometimes people know the knack to score big...

To "Kill" the machine, right ramp over and over.
You get hippos build up and when it spells hippo you get 3x hippo. Builds by 3M each time.

Last time I played Congo, I had hippo value up to 1B so 3B at 3x per collect.

Killed the game at 38B and couldn't continue.

I need to go somewhere to to a day of downloading. Don't have this one either.

So I will just play along for fun with old version to attempt my personal best.

That right ramp is a tough shot! I like that you have to blast through the pops.

Actually I will update that.

Hippos adds 1M to Hippo value.
(Resets start of each ball)

Spelling Hippo lites right ramp for 3x Hippo Value.

Last time the game died, I had built to 1B = 3x Hippo at 333M on one ball.

To make things easier or rather quicker
- complete map at left ramp so ball always diverts to left flipper.
- start a multiball
- trap some on right flipper and shoot right ramp over and over. You are now collecting 33m jackpots as well as the hippos behind that.

If all else fails, just play the game as normal and have fun with it.

Here's an example of 20 mins of play.

Rules should be without, of course, imo.

And this is only at Time 00:00 ?
I am 360 Days / Year already in "Pinball Dreams" at this Time ... ( of course, could turn the Time up )

Thanks for the tip on the slingshot gtxjoe, I changed the threshold from 1 to 3 and it has made the game much more playable.

I also changed the gorilla flipper strength (goflipper right and goflipper left) from 6500 to 7500 and it now plays much more like the real table.

Ps don't forget the super skill shot where you plunge the ball straight into the kickback lane, totaly avoiding the skill shot switches.

I'll never catch dedrock, but count me in for the battle for second place. I put in about thirty games to get this score. And Stat still has me beat!

Don't count my scores as I'm on a really old version.
Stats in front.

Not that I've hit a score worthy of posting...

I have tweaked the DT/DMD textbox settings, kind of funky build not that I'm up to speed at all with the whole VPX and pinmame 2.8?...still throws up that error message with me using pinmame 2.7, plays fine all the same?

Anyhows this is how it rolls/looks here for your DT consideration...

Text box DMD settings, be sure to tick Use Script DMD

I've been into hiding the grill lately. Maybe it looks better with grill visible? It's fun to experiment, :P

I'm still struggling to hit that right volcano ramp!
