Thanks for update 1.0.4 and I'm looking forward to the new B2S backglass that is hinted to in the script! :dblthumb:

Great job Tipoto, thanks for the update!
This table still just blows me away! Not only that it looks so incredibly realistic, but the fact that I can even run such an awesome table on my older system.

Strange, with this v1.04 the ball is invisible.

Have you activated "Antialias ball" in the "Video options"?

I didn't change anything related to the balls.
Can you do a quick test please... This update is done for VP913 (and I hope it's the version you are playing with), but could you try to launch the table with VP912? It's just to test if the balls are visible in this version?

Yes, balls are not visible in VP913 but not visible in VP912 also.

I have to investigate...

What do you mean? Version 1.03 didn't have as much stuttering problems as version 1.04 on your cab?

Yes, balls are not visible in VP913 but not visible in VP912 also.

I have to investigate...

I use ATI card (HD4890).
And if i disabled "Hardware device rendering", balls are visible.

i dont think i have used 103 the last version i had was the b2s version and it was for vp912 i could play that flawlessly

I was running the B2S version previously too, whichever that was, and I have to agree, it ran smoother than this update (running VP913, only just upgraded to it,w as waiting for this table to support it). Happy to do any tests that would help pinpoint the issue, this table is too good to not have working great. :)

Try running this new version with a static backglass only (so no UVP). That should help with the stutter.
The backglass for this table isn't too active, so you don't lose much if you go static.
Or just stick to the existing B2S version for 9.12 - that's what I do until this one gets the B2S treatment. This table is the reason for me not to upgrade to 9.13 yet :P

The current available B2S is based on v1.03. The only thing I changed in v1.04 which could have affected the fps, is the way the skull eyes turn on now, I added a "blink" effect by changing some lines and functions in the script. But honestly, I don't think it can really affect the FPS... I'll take a look.
I'll send PM with test versions to people having issues, once I have time to work on it. Probably tomorrow evening.

Also, if anybody sees any glitches or black lines with this version (1.04), please let me know! This is not normal at all, I normally fixed all those problems and the table is supposed to be completely clean ;) I will probably post some screenshots with the possible positions were you can expect graphic issues.

I wonder if its a performance issue with VP 9.13, as I remember Jimmy Fingers commenting on that. Didnt Cupid or Toxie say its possible 9.13 was compiled for older processors and that could affect fps? Wondering if we can get a version compiled to take advantage of i5's

BTW,

Can we add B2s to this? I see in the script there is a spot to enable it. I tried but it didnt work.

Yes, maybe it's a problem with VP913 and the newer processors! I have an intel Q8800 (pretty old) and I didn't notice any hit performance-wise between both versions (912 or 913).

About B2S: This version is not designed to work with the current B2S table (which is a temporary release), but it will work with the new upcoming B2S system that Herweh is working on. The option you see in the script enables the "B2S.server" which is necessary for this new system.
I hope I will be able to upload a temporary version very soon. ;)

My comment was not a comparison between VP913 and VP912 but was about VP913rev321 vs. the official VP912 release / version. That's what that conversation was about so no one should be concerned that VP913 has any really bearing on performance (from my experience) when compared to VP912, certainly not in a detrimental way. I had squeeked out a couple extra FPS with the dev321 build as compared to VP912 (was better) and the offical one was just back down to what I had always seen on VP912 with my test tables / rigs.

I think some apples to oranges comparison is going on because some people were previously using a B2S version that are now comparing to this non-B2S update - that's going to be the real change in behviour vs. the VP912 / VP913 thing IMHO.

But I am concerned by the fact that the slower version should be the B2S one and not the opposite :/
