Now that does look impressive. Glad to see the use of Hardware Lighting at last, sadly lacking in the other versions. And better looking DMD too. Still doesn't look as good as Future Pinball though but they're definitely improving.

FP looks ok but the physics suck a$$. I'll take Pinball Arcade or even VP over FP any day.

That lighting is a massive improvement particular the neon which is nicely reflecting off the chrome and even the glass over the instruction cards. Looks a bit slow but hopefully they will increase the slope a little. Also a real looking DMD at last - apparently that will automatically be included for all tables in the next update.

I also read a comment the other day from Farsight saying they are busy trying to implement all the features requested for PC version - sounds promising smile.gif

Same here. Hopefully once they have knocked out some of the headlining tables and the product starts to pay for itself they will get a few EMs added.

I now own it and play it on: PS3, Vita, iPhone4s and iPad 3. iPad is the best version I think so far. PS3 has the nicest lighting and graphics, but the flippers seem to lag a bit. Really looking forward to the PC version.

After scoring 2 1/2 bil on TOM today The flippers do seem a bit better on my 360 version compared to my PS3.

I'd rather play it on PS3 still

For the PS3 players, check if your TV supports "Game Mode" in it's settings MENU to reduce the LAG.

I'm probably going to get the PC Version on Steam when it comes out.
As of table suggestions, only Champion Pub, I could suggest a couple Data East tables (Surely the rights to those tables are Stern's) but they had mediocre reception among most for their lacking artwork or haphazard table design.

That's weird. On my Samsung, the visual quality is supposed to be sacrificed for the increase in speed that game mode offers and it fixed the delay issues for me on Zen Pinball.

Maybe the TV needs an updated firmware?!? is that even possible for a TV needing an update??

Todd.

The lag on the PS3 version is likely due to various video filters on your television. If you have the option try playing it in Game Mode and/or turn any filters. It may not look as nice but the lag should disappear.

Update about Twilight Zone...

Farsight: We have good news and bad news to report on the issue of licensed tables. We’ve finally succeeded in negotiating all of the licenses we’d need to bring the Twilight Zone to the Pinball Arcade. This is unquestionably one of the greatest pinball tables of all time (and is currently #1 in IPDB’s user rankings). However the licenses are VERY expensive- so expensive that the table probably isn’t commercially viable. Some of you have suggested a Kickstarter project to raise money for the license costs and we’re considering this.

I just got out of school so the most I could contribute is $100 plus the cost of the table once it drops. TZ is my favorite table and since I don't have a couple thousand $$$ lying around....

It really makes wonder how many (if any) tables would exist for visual pinball if the table authors actually paid the licensing fees.
