I have just tried to rotate several objects at the same time, and they all rotate well (walls, lights, ramps and a primitive too). Tested with two computers, and it works ok, all the objects rotate fine.

thanks JP for testing. I doubt it that the reported problem has something to do with my changes it sounds more of a gfx driver issue.

Very strange, I'm trying right now to rotate any object with the rev597 , I see no problem, everything works fine.

ICPjuggla ,You can post a picture of what you want to rotate.

Thx all for taking the time to help and shoot out ideas! :-) I should be home in an hour or so and I'll try the few things suggested and then if that doesn't work I'll post screen shots. I'm also thinking about down loading the other rev's to see exactly where the problem started seeing that I'm the only one with the issue!

Hmm very strange. All changes after 588 are related to the hide/layer option. I can't reproduce your issue here, but perhaps you can try to play around with the layers to see if the rotated object pops up again after you switched on/off

layers or merged them down?

Tried that and the object(s) rotated still stay hidden.

Do they show up in the player when you try to play the table or is it as if they have been deleted

Sorry off topic. Are you building safecracker. I have a lot of recent experience with that one. Love it when it shoots the coin down the glass at you

I had that happen during a game and it freaked me rite out of my mind because I wasn't expecting that!

ok I think I understand.

i'm having a similar issue.

when  I right click on a wall and go to scale and say enter 1.1 in the scale dialog window.  when I click ok, the wall disappears from the editor.

when I hit undo the wall returns

Herweh, OldSkoolGamer and my self are building it. I just started the Safe Cracker build this week, we are still also wrapping up Atlantis and Mousin' Around. I'm sure the other guys as we'll as my self would love some input or ideas for Safe Cracker if you have anything. :-) I my self have played the table a few times at the pinball museum in Baltimore last year on vacation. It's a fun table. Funny you talk about the coin, I didn't win one but my wife did. lol she is pretty good at pinball, I've been thinking about how we are going to pull that off on the table build. If you have some ideas PM me... :-)

Yup undo it returns but doesn't rotate it it returns it back the way it was...

map the coin texture to a primitive they are simple to move and change images on.

back on topic.

I noticed that this issue only occurs with the right click menu functions if the object is assigned to a layer.

for example.

I have a wall,  I can right click and scale it to 1.1 or whatever no problem.

if I take the same wall and assign it to say layer 8.  then when I try to scale it to 1.1 with the right click menu, it disappears from the editor

hope that helps.

is this the same for you ICPjuggla.  does the rotate work correct if none of the objects are assigned to a layer.

btw, I work at ruth's chris the restaurant right next to the pinball museum so I used to play it all the time.  too bad the museum closed

The set of objects in my screen shot are all set to layer 1 by defalt, i dont see a way not to assign to a layer. even trying to set it to another layer it still disappears. I just tryed right click scale and objects disappear using that too..

That's a shame the museum closed it was a really nice place, the wife and I had a blast there...

Please try rev600. However I can't reproduce that issue in any way. I move elements to different layers and the element draws fine after I scaled/rotated it.

It looks like rev600 isn't available yet. When it becomes available I'll let you know how it works out! Thx in advance fuzzel. :-)

Thanks koadic for compiling rev600. I have tried several of my latest tables and so far so good. I also did some editing and rotation seems good (but I didn't have any errors with the older rev. either).
