Hey all..

So, I've been busy with work, and buying a new house, and haven't had much time to devote to my pinball addiction. However, I've moved into the new house, and I'm getting my pincab set back up. Last night I wanted to download a new table, and also try out the latest build of visual pinball, and I ended up downloading Circus Voltaire Platinum....guys, gals, whoever did this table...WOW!! Well done. I've played a few versions, and it seems they never quite get the toys right, but your trapped "cue" ball, and ringmasters head just blew me away...

I'm really excited about all the changes and advancements I'm seeing on here, and they all seem to spell good news for PINBALL!
I look forward to getting all my tables back in the cab, and adding all the new ones available.

This Christmas, my presents will all be pinball...sweet! I love it.

Peace,
Lynny

Have any of you guys been able to get lucky enough and score "sneaky lock" from the ball flying off the ringmaster into the high wire multiball lock?
I have, but only a very few times.

I've had it happen quite a few times actually. Didn't think it was such a rare occurrence. I
Since I'm making a post, I must say this table has become very challenging. Doubt I'll be replacing any scores that I got on previous versions!

Hard table played a lot and cant beat the hiscore, unfortunaly i got massive lagg in multiball on the platinum version.

I'll return to version 3.0 this version is stutter free for me.

Thanks a lot for all the hard work.

Same here. The table is much harder now than the previous version. I like that.

I have, but only a very few times.

I have had this happen both ways .. a few times of the Ring Masters head, and a few times up the left ramp but with just enough speed at the top right to fall to the ramp below to lock the ball. Pretty cool since I have never seen this before on previous versions .. maybe I was a bit lucky. Such amazing work on this table ..thanks again to all involved!

The Ringmaster animation is indeed awesome... one thing I noticed is the base (with the 'jackpot' script) just appears and disappears when the Ringmaster is raised or retracted. Now I'm getting greedy, but would it be possible to make it move together with the head? That would make it even better :)

The problem is that is below the playfield, so it is faked with a drop wall to show a perspective view when it is raised. If the playfield could be made transparent in parts where you could see below it, I could make it part of the ringmaster itself, so it would raise and lower in unison.

Another problem I've noticed..

I'm planning with a reduced width to keep the real table ratio, and the reflected light from the left yellow dome is cut with a big black stripe. This must be hidden when the table is played with the default width.

that was added to hide artifacts that stayed on the screen after the flasher was lit, feel free to remove the wall/ramp if you would like.

Love this setup but have a question about the new dip settings.   Is there an easy one step way to switch between night/day mode?   IF I do it like I did before in pinball X and have two tables and B2S's  like Cirqus Voltaire.vpt and Cirqus Voltaire(night).vpt  I still get the same table depending on what the ROM is set to with the switch.    Is there a way to do this now or will there maybe be a way later that Pinball X could switch with a single button press or maybe using Player1'a idea of a light sensor to auto select?

The only way currently to get both a day and night version of the table running at the same time is to follow what I have posted earlier... post #215 and post #297 :)

Sorry koadic, I should have found your previous posts my self.  Thanks a bunch though, that worked like a charm!

I have to lists in Pinball X, Regular (day tables) and  Night mods.  That way I can choose at the start of a gaming session if it's going do be regular tables or the Night mods available.  Kind of a operator selected lights out mode.

Hi, First off, beautiful table !!!   The Ringmaster is almost scary ;-)  I have a question, I have my playfield monitor in backwards(didnt know there was a right way when building my cab)  anyway i have to rotate all my tables to 90 degrees to play them.  When i rotate CV its like the physics are still 270.  The ball enters the trough then rolls right down the table as if it was upside down.  Is there a setting in the gui or the script that i can change to get everything to be in synch?  This is the only table that this ever happened....

Thanks and keep up the awesome work !!
