I got that one on the 4:3 version

I can't wait to try on the FS but it will be a while, i don't like messing with my 22" monitor as i just disassembled it and i want to get it in a box first.

Looks like nobody plays Rollercoaster Tycoon VP9, so i'll pave the way with my HS

I cant beat Sabbat Centaur HS so i moved to another table to escape the frustration.

To Danothediscoking, ChainZaw and Sabbat Moon re CENTAUR:

It's always nice when one's favorite pin becomes the topic of conversation. NICE scores, gentlemen! Were they all on Lord Hiryu's VP9 table? All of my good scores are on PD's VP8 (not kosher, though; the first thing I did was set the table to the familiar five-balls-per-game)---I can't get off the ground in VP9 to save my butt. Question: did anyone change the Special DIP to Extra Ball (the more the merrier if you're shooting only for Score)?

Again; good work, folks! (Saving complaints for the Support Topic)

'Talking' in two threads at once is interesting; which question should you ask/answer first? Anyway, regarding updating; it's been so long (February) since I DL'd the VP8 table---and immediately adjusted to five-ball play (and shortly afterward set some Replay scores with ta2686's adjustment Guides---because that's just the way things should be....I've got to hear it POP!---that I'm not sure what the factory settings actually are. Maybe there's a 'reset' button....I haven't really looked. When there are people like Harakiri (sp?) scoring multiple Billions on whatever game wakes them up, complacency comes rather easily.

Anyway, if I decide to try and put up HiScores, I'll probably DL a new Rom and give my existing one the Dot-Oh-Ell-Dee treatment. Pretty hard to just say goodbye to Five-balls-per-game.

Rambling a bit now....time to get some sleep. Post again (or PM) if any of this has had an effect.

Thanx a lot Bolt, coming from a top scorer like you means a lot. This table just makes sense to me. I love the PC game, P. Lawlor makes the Table and JP recreates it = Nirvana dblthumb.gif

If only somebody would make Last Action Hero for VP9 rolleyes.gif

Doesn't look like you even needed the upper-right Release Target; if you read my post in the Centaur 4:3 thread, did the game give you any of those issues?

Damn! And I was ready to report I had a few killer games (e.g. playing non-stop) and got 3.3 mil a few times and a new top score for me of 3.6 mil...I'm still having problems posting pictures but since I've already been beaten, it doesn't seem that important.ha!

What a hard game to improve on as the strategy changes every second depending on what is happening (e.g. rebound hits 1-2-3-4 targets out of order). However, learning to get the double queen's chamber seems to help my score by leaps and bounds.

Oh, and I'm playing on PD's VP8 table. How is the VP9 one? I think the VP8 really plays true to form.

A great game of pinbot, wound up be 6 balls. A well earned highscore as I didn't have a very high solar value built up. I conquered the universe for the first time on VP and had a blast.
