on a duel screen cab maybe but not a 3 screen including running UVP and FP.

Yes, I guess you're right. I've never experimented with a 3-screen setup, so I don't know much about it.

I'm hoping that when you go to XP, all is well.

I never had any issues with performance of Visual Pinball or UVP on the Phenom X4 (mine wasn't a Phenom II - it was one of the original Phenom quad cores), but HyperPin had some pretty serious issues.

UVP seemed happy with DMD tables on Windows 7, but hated LED tables. Under Windows XP, it liked LED tables, but hated DMD tables.

Since I've switched to a Core i5, my HyperPin problems went away (not a fresh install of Windows 7 - Windows 7 booted ok on the new hardware, surprisingly, so I just added the drivers it was missing), and the tables run smoother than before (expected, given the beefier hardware). I haven't tried the LED UVP tables yet - that'll be next.

i dunno tables run perfect on my desktop win 7 64bit using a asus crosshair III formula m/b, phenom II 965, gtx 580, 8gb ram but that's with just single monitor.

i think the m/b i have now is crap and part of the cause of the stutter i don't think it can handle the multiple cards too well .after i've got the ssd i could put a asus crosshair IV and a phenom II 965 in i'd get a free x-fi sound card with it i can sell 2gb of ram, the m/b and the CPU in the cab to try and fund it?

From another thread:

QUOTE (bladexdsl @ Aug 20 2011, 05:33 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
heres what mine looks like resized to max cutout size as you can see it looks fugly and no where as clear as yours. 2nd image is to show the cutout size.

Those lines are because you've scaled the DMD to something that is not a multiple of the original size. It's interpolating pixels to give you the dimensions you're asking for, but it won't look crisp that way. If your DMD is, say, 259 x 67, then your next "crisp" size will be 518 x 134, then 777 x 201, etc. Anything between those numbers will result in the distortion you're seeing.

You can also try going down to 640 x 480 and playing around with resolution there, too.

i am running at 640 x 480. i can use double size option and that looks good but it wont cover the entire cutout.

That sounds odd - these things are designed to replace regular bulbs, so their dimensions are generally very similar to a normal #555 wedge base bulb. Are you sure it's in all the way? If it's actually too long, you shouldn't be able to press the button in with it in there - if you can, then it's probably not in quite right.

Also, LEDs are polarity sensitive - if you put it in and it doesn't lit up, either swap your wires or turn the LED around in the socket.

I used these from Pinball Life. They're 3 LED, so they're bright, which I felt was needed for a 2.5" button like Launch Ball is. In the end, I wound up using my 3 LED bulbs in all of my buttons (except my RGB flipper buttons, which had their own setup). I got a bunch of colors to match my button colors.

The ones I got and the ones you linked to in your previous post are #555 replacements, so they should be fine. In most cases, the LED bulbs are actually smaller than regular bulbs, so they shouldn't cause any problems. From the photos for the products you mentioned, I can't see any reason they won't fit, unless they're not seated into the socket all the way, or something.
