Hi alltogether

I search a solution for the following problem. On my vpincabinet i installed more then 700 VPX tables and all i can start with the pinup popper frontend. Only JP's Deadpool and JP's Space Cadet i cannot start correctly. This happend after i updated the B2s Server to 1.3.04. before the installed B2s Server version was old and from 2016. with the old Version i could start Deadpool normal but now i don't see the playfield and only the backglass and the flexdmd (on a [Pin2DMD]). I tried everything. And yes the b2s is running in EXE and the dmd options are on not visible. When i start Deadpool directly with VPX then everything is working normal? 

Has somebody an solution for this strange problem?

You may be better off posting this to popper support being that it is a popper issue and not a table or vpx issue

A lot of use do not use popper, so we wont have any idea unfortunately

UPDATE

 

1.06: Updated 06.09.2021
- fixed DMD not showing the new awarded bonus multiplier.
- thanks to Cimmerian for spotting some missing sounds and graphics from the script. The sounds and images were already in the table but they weren't used.
- fixed highscore entry for several players.
 
Just a few bugs fixed and enhancements :)

JP can you please stop fixing and updating stuff.

 

I get used to losing a certain way, and then you wreck my entire routine, and then i have to learn how to lose differently

It is very stressful having to relearn how to lose

Thanks for the update, JP, I just beated my highscore :)

 

 

 

I beated my fastest loss

 

In consolation for my faster losing, i put Bangarang back in for DP Multiball
cause i dont live long enough to get any modes going

lil dp multiball was started, but the right dropdown target was still up somehow - and the ball was lying behind it. The second ball got drained and the remaining ball still lying behind the target. With only one ball left on the playfield, targets were raised and trapped the remainig ball - had to kill game.

lil dp multiball was started, but the right dropdown target was still up somehow - and the ball was lying behind it. The second ball got drained and the remaining ball still lying behind the target. With only one ball left on the playfield, targets were raised and trapped the remainig ball - had to kill game.

 

Line 3618 will show a Boom graphic on the DMD and it will play the boom sound. So yes, the sound is still there. Line 3618 replaced line 3617. But I see that during a battle the instruction DMDScoreNow from line 3622 will clear the DMD buffer to show the life and the instruction from line 3618 will not sound. You may comment/delete the line 3622, nothing special if the life updates a few seconds later :)

 

Things can happen during that Lil DP multiball :) But it should be very rare.

Hey JP!  I meant to ask this sometime ago and I'm sure it's in this thread somewhere, but 2 things:  When Sabertooth is lit, the top orbit insert isn't lit.  Is this intentional as I know this isn't an exact replica.  Also, when you finish a battle and the extra jackpot is lit at the 'Battle' that also doesn't light.

Hey np!  It's tough with this table as it's a 'Tribute' table or whatever we are calling them nowadays, and I'm not sure what's omitted or replicated.  When I play the real DP, I always look at the middle orbit insert (yellow flash) to make sure I'm in Sabertooth lol.  Then after I finished the mode, it said 'HIT THE SCOOP FOR JACKPOT" and it wasn't lit.   I play this game often in real life so I haven't put much time into this one, but I will now as it's so darn smooth.

You'll need to read the pdf with the rules I implemented. The battles are more simplified, and there are no quests, they are also handled as battles. After the 6 battles you may fight MrSinister. This is more simplified than the real table.

 

After each battle you may shoot the scoop for an extra jackpot. The scoop's lights should be lit after each battle.

for some reason, the dmd is being blocked. I see part of the borders on the sides but black in the middle. I have other flex dmds working fine. When I launched the table via vpx it showed the dmd. seems to happen when launching in pby.

Super fun table!! Thanks JP. Does anyone else have absolutely no feedback (directoutput) most other tables it works fine its this and the space cadet one too. Thanks in advanced!
