Regarding the flippers, is it me or is it difficult to aim properly with them? I've never had such a hard time shooting the ball in the right place, reminds me almost of Future Pinball. Or maybe it's because it's been 15 years since I've layed my hands on a T2...

I don't have any problems to reach any shots of the table, maybe just the left lock is a little bit harder than what it should be...
Usually you can tweak the flippers from the editor, but on this table it's more complicated because some parameters are animated through the script and there are 4 couples of flippers one on top of each others, all appearing/disappearing depending on the context...

I'm pretty happy with my flippers actually smile.gif.. You can do almost all the basic flippers techniques. In my next version 1.03 (maybe tonight or tomorrow) the live catch has been completely redone and works pretty well.

Update 1.03

- Bug fixes: The table is not stuck anymore if you tilt while the ball is in the gun or in the skull
- Ball reflection is now hidden when the ball is on the Left Lock
- New Sounds options: Now you can mute the gun gear motor, the slingshots and the bumpers
- T2 logo on the ball has been removed, though the textures are still available in the editor (4 colors: Blue, Red, gray and white)
- Physics adjustment
  • Live catch modified on the flippers
  • Gun timing slightly modified
  • Some objects adjusted (Elasticity, position...)
  • Tilt sensitivity modified (was too sensitive)

FYI: With the flippers, you can do most of the basic techniques like:
- Post pass
- Drop Catch
- Live Catch
- Cradle separation (during multiball)
- Etc...

Try them with the training mode wink.gif

Thanks for your continued refinement of this amazing table! I can't wait to try it later today.

I'm glad you decreased the sensitivity of the tilt, although its' sensitivity kept me on my toes and that was fun (I'm not going to delete 1.02), but I tilted more than I cared for smile.gif

Cool that you can do the flipper maneuvers.

...No offense about my FP remark. Maybe I just came from playing another table and comparing it's physics to T2, Gotta stick to one table at a time, I think.

Great job and thanks again for the work you put into it! cool.gif

I wondering what Black and Randy think about this table? I'm pretty sure they think this one is awesome looking table. I haven't seen them post in years.

Gravy pokes his head out from under the rock right next door and can confirm that this crap is indeed holy.

What a visually incredible creation Tipoto, many thanks for this mod and thanks to Noah and gang for giving permission to mod their already amazing table.

Runs a bit slow on my 6 year old PC but that's to be expected. Time for an upgrade.

No problems man, everyone has opinions & you're not alone in not liking fp physics. Tipoto's table plays really great, & even looks better which really surprised me. Hopefully the process of making tables this way gets refined to crank them out faster. I'll definately be upgrading screens so i can get rid of the lines. This table alone is worth it dblthumb.gif

Hi Rawd... smile.gif sorry I havent been around much lately, looking after my 2 year old girl and attempting to get some work done at the same time doesnt leave a huge amount of time for pinball stuff these days. sad.gif Not that I would give up the dad experience for the world though.
