Is there a relatively simple way to boost brightness when I switch into 3d mode? I don't want to lighten the tables all the time, only when I'm playing in 3d.

Good question. I can do this via f6 and/or a pov file or I can search for some settings in reshade sweet fx. - at the end its the same work for changing settings. I have to change settings in pov or reshade.ini..
Try Levels.fx and set white point to 152. But you stll will have to enable this with a click..

I'm just starting to dip my toe into 3D with a pair of amber/blue anaglyph glasses and reshader.

Thanks.

If you are using reshade and superdepth3D as the 3D rendering method, just try ticking the HDR shader as well in reshade. Then when you switch 3D on and off with whatever effects hot key you defined in reshade settings it will also switch off the HDR and will have no visual effect on your 2D gameplay. Ideally you want HDR shader to be on first before you select the superdepth3D shader as effects are seemingly additive and 3D should be the last effect that is applied, although the ordering seems to be a bit hit and miss in my experience.

I looked around and couldn't find that setting. I'm embarrassed for asking but could you point it out?

I have the same trouble in ReShader. I'm still trying to understand how it all works. I think this option was on the first screen where you select what elements to include (including SuperDepth3d). When I reopened Reshader, I couldn't see any of those options, but they showed up after clicking the button at the bottom of the window that says something like reload or refresh (I'm not in front of my cab right now).

Checking that box gave me a new panel that included a slider for HDR. Moving it to the left brightened the screen.

So, I know this post is specifically about VPX. But what about Future Pinball, FX3, or Zaccaria? Has anyone tried Reshader with those? Do you just follow the same procedure as for VPX?

I realize this post is about VPX. But has anyone tried getting Reshader to work with Future Pinball, FX3, or Zaccaria? Is the process the same for those emulators? Just run the installer and point it to the exe? For FP, do you point it at FPloader? For Zaccaria and FX3 that run through Steam, where do we point Reshader?

Topper2k thanks for your reply, but I tried reloading SuperDepth3D and I'm only finding the divergence slider not the HDR. Also I didn't see an HDR on the first screen where you select what elements to include (including SuperDepth3d). Is it another shader that I should have loaded during the install process?

Yes. Backup your ini and restart the install process. HDR ist Part of Sweet FX, so you should add it.. You´ll find it in the list of effect packages to choose..

Future Pinball is OpenGL if I remember correctly, so use that as the API when installing Reshade/Superdepth3D. I haven't tested it.

FP also has an inbuilt anaglyph 3D mode when using BAM although Superdepth is likely more configurable (perhaps slower though).

Hey Tiki, I still can't get this to work with anything other than VPX. Can you share a little more about how you got it to work?

For FX3, the install seemed OK and didn't generate any errors, but when I pressed the home button while playing a table nothing happened.

For Future Pinball, trying to install I got an error saying that OpenGL was already in use by the program.

What's the secret sauce to get this working in FX3 and FP?

No Idea. I run the reshade setup, choosed Pinball FX3.exe, choosed dx10/11 and successfully ended the setup. Then I run the game, changed the keys .. works..
I have no Future Pinball running, sorry..

Just a note to mention that the latest update to Superdepth3D now includes Trioviz Inficolor 3D emulation and results are apparently very good (according to Ryan over at VP Nation Facebook group who has tested out quite a few different types of glasses and thinks these are the best so far). I've ordered some plastic Trioviz glasses from ebay but they wont arrive here in Australia for about a month. Maybe I will pull my finger out and have a PC with a working GPU by then so I can actually start playing again.

Blueskydefender also added some colour correction options, latest link is at https://github.com/B...7ad61b54789ad8e (not sure if it is on his main site yet at depth3d.info )

Reshade update is also at V5.3 now.

Today I bought a Pinball FX Table, which is a bit dark and so I installed reshade with Pinball FX. it works with Dx 10-11-12, but it needs a powerfull graphics card. 3D Test when it its a bit cooler here.. :-)

I tried to use Re-Shade with Pinball FX 2 (yes, not 3). Istallation was ok, I chose DX9, because when choosing DX10... Re-Shade doesn't start when opening PB FX2.

Basically, no anaglyph is rendered.

And: Superdepth 3D isn*t listed in Add-Ons

And: there is this error in the log:

rehadeerrorpbfx2_t.jpg

Anybody an idea, what went wrong?

Did anybody combine anaglyph 3D, BAM and an 4K 120Hz OLED TV?

No idea what he is selling

Anyone can order glasses
and VPX and BAM both come with the ability built in, and if a person doesnt like that, there is reshade, which is FREE
as in this numb nuts cant be selling it (nor VPX, Nor BAM, nor a dozen other things)

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Oh but letting us see his employees reactions to it will help sell it?

lol the first guy had his name tag on shirt. Second guy is seen in background working at desk while the 3rd person is trying it out.

I bet they are all his employees.

Sad that it always seems to be the aussies trying to sell the VP table packages.
