I actually focused the theme about Slimer :) That's why the playfield is more green and full of slime (on the plastics and playfield).

So for noe I still call it "Ghostbusters Slimer" or maybe simply "Slimer". I'm still working on the graphics, but they are now more or less finished. I see a few places where I need to retouch some textures.

And the ramps are real VPX ramps, metal ramps :)

But I have no problem changing the theme :)

Still it will take a long time before the table is finished.

Spiderman Vault runs on SAM still.  You can run the Vault ROM on any Spiderman VP version.

Same way if they ever rerun a game like the Simpsons Pinball Party - that would come out on SAM and not SPIKE.  They wont spend unnecessary money changing the platform.

George Gomez said that on a YouTube 'factory tour'.... (or words to that effect....)

I was under the impression that all the VE's coming out (starting with spiderman) were going to run on SPIKE.  Anyone know any different?

if they ever rerun a game like the Simpsons Pinball Party it may be under some kind of emu system.

They have one for SAM games on spike very buggy at times.

Seems everyone, weather they are pro or con on using coin op images are missing one thing. We have a lot of very good designers and coders here. Why not use those talents to create a new version of Sterns Ghostbusters with all different images. Then see which one is better. I happen, not to think that Computer pinball simulations are going to hurt the retail or coin op industry. However as they do generally have a bigger stick than we do, it would not be wise to ‘poke the hornets’ nest to much’

Sorry seems my post got on the wrong topic, Will repost in correct area.

"This isn't about sales ...

When the IP owner asks to not create a simulation of their product, it's okay to just say 'screw it' and do it anyway?

I disagree wholeheartedly, sorry.

We are here to preserve pinball history, not recreate its present. I'm very disappointed with members just doing whatever they want, regardless of how it could affect our community. There will come a time when it all comes crashing down, because a few people just couldn't, or wouldn't, respect the wishes of the industry."

I'm going to bump this one again because it's been great history lesson for people who weren't here from the beginning.
