I had the same problem. Fixed it in the backdrop settings by disabling the timer.

I think he uploaded a new version that fixed the auto script detection for cabinets. VP Tables (Part 2)

In these cases you can just drag the EM reels away from the table in the backdrop portion of the editor... (might have to unlock them first)

Here is Medieval Madness Release 1 -  With a super cool late addition drawbridge mesh and texture kindly supplied by Zany.

Graphics options / Castle shake options are at the top of the script and the rom name is down a bit further after the

Const cGameName =
section of the script.

The game is currently configured to use the non official profanity rom so change this to what you normally use (all rom options for the game are in there).

Experiment with the graphics options to get a visual balance that suits your setup and preferences.

A desktop mode is included however I didn't spend a huge amount of time tweaking this to be perfect. (Some of the flashers look a bit weird on the backwall).  I would

suggest you wait for the other VP10 version of this table which will be released at a later date as I'm sure the desktop version will be very nice in that one.

Many thanks to Fuzzel for the castle / ramp and other meshes that are used in this table.  Also a big thanks to JPSalas and Koadic for their script wizardry, some of which was used

and adapted for this table.  This table is based on JP's VP9 version - it's basically a conversion with some shiny lights added.  As mentioned above, other versions are coming which are built from scratch and will be dimension perfect.  Wait for those if you're a purist.

This table uses a tonne of image swaps on primitives and ramps - during the first ball depending on your HDD speed / Video Ram you will notice some stutter as the texture cache is filled. It will only happen the first time you play a ball and trigger the flashers - it's quite minimal and barely noticeable on my system but keep it in mind.

Please make sure you are using the latest Beta of VPX to play this as well as the latest VBS scripts which are included in the beta archives.

Have fun - Dozer.

Hello Dozer,

Beautiful table sir!  One of my wife's favorites as well and you more than brought it to life!  Thank you!  I was wondering if there an end-user method/option to reduce the amount of image swaps during the first ball.  I've tried several different VPX video settings and I had cut the stutter down a bit, but then I made some other changes and now the stutter is much more noticeable! Perhaps a full 1- 2 seconds!  As you said, after all the flashers have been triggered once, my computer seems to handle the table just fine, other than some other sporadic stutter that just started happening, but I think my computer's hardware should be able to handle it. (i5, GTX660, 12G Ram, SSD).  Thank you!

I have been looking for Bugs Bunny Birthday Bash for a while and all links to a full screen table are no longer hosting the table.  Post #1 and #1600 in this thread no longer work, as they are Dropbox 404 errors.

Does anyone know if this table is available in FS (any version of VP)?

Thanks!

It has not been updated for the latest VPX builds. You'll have to wait until he updates it and releases it

Thank-you for the comment.  I don't think there is a way to cut down on that initial stutter until the engine caches all of the textures.  Unfortunately this table uses many image swaps so it is fairly noticeable on the first ball until they load.  If the I/O subsystem on your cabinet is fast enough and there's enough video ram it shouldn't be too horrible but you will notice it.

in the end its all just personal preference how someone likes there tables lit... I kinda like GI to be localized (I guess the word would be), not really as bracketed

heres a couple examples how I have these lit for my cab...

Boiydiego knows the fix for this already as he contacted me via PM, but in case anyone else has this problem, just add the following code into the Sub Table1_Init() routine:

' Nudging
vpmNudge.TiltSwitch = 14
vpmNudge.Sensitivity = 1
vpmNudge.TiltObj = Array(Bumper1, Bumper2, Bumper3, LeftSlingshot, RightSlingshot, sw56)

Shoopity,

I still cant get the SS spider to rotate even with you recent suggestions. Could be me but you might want to take a look.

Thanks

Are you talking about the B2S spider, or the built-in spider (for desktop mode)?  If it's the B2S, I want to make sure the B2S launches, and if it does, do the lights in it work (the award lights as well as some other effects during various actions)?

The newest version may not have gotten uploaded.  I uploaded the newest version I have, I then downloaded that version I just uploaded and played it.  If my LMEMDOFTables.txt has a 0 in it, the B2S doesn't launch and the built-in spider rotates; if my LMEMDOFTables.txt has a 1, the B2S launches just fine, the built-in spider does NOT rotate and the B2S spider does.

So, try re-downloading one more time (from the first post) and let me know how it goes.  If you're not using LMEMDOFTables.txt to start your B2S (if you're using the old way of finding Set Controller and changing it to be equal to B2S.Server), then that's your problem.  To switch between a built-in spider (for destkop users) and the B2S spider (for multi-monitor users), lots of code changes need to take place in multiple routines that's taken care of by the script and looking at LMEMDOFTables.txt.  If that file doesn't even exist, the table assumes you're using the built-in spider.

Sweet! I have been looking forward to trying this table. I once heard someone say they thought this was Bally's worst-ever table. Have to say I disagree. I am having fun with it.

I am using the final VPX release. Ball has gotten stuck a few times but it plays pretty well. I like the unusual layout.
