congrates to all of you on your high scores.....are you playing the table straigth out of the DL or tweaking it a little?....we need to play on the same platform to be fair.....the only way to be fair is to upload your table with the changes if any....i dont see the point if it is not on the same platform......thats how it is done in real tournament competition.....everybody plays the same table...
another possible unfair advantage could be that alot of us dont have a custom built high performance gaming PC or an i3 , i5 or i7 dual core or quad processor....a high performance PC will play much better....i dont see how it can be fair.....im on an older 2.2single core....it will be unfair to compete with a high performance gaming PC.....

as said in the "fair rules", we're all playing on the same tables/settings of course, else its a nonsense

and btw, this is not a "competition", but a simple & friendly way to get some peper on our games

chas>>>>>sure it is a competition to test the tables and who is the champ on points.....awhile back there was a thread asking members if they were interested in competition.....i could have been interested.....i find that the tables need to moded out of the DL....flippers and slings are too weak or too strong.....flipper oblique may not be to my liking.....flippers too small.....i was asking if we could tweak the table then upload it for competition......oth, my PC plays VP8 and old VP9FS.....struggeling with alot of the the new VP9xFS.....no graphics problems....it cant play the new ones proper......i dropped out of the competition.....my PC cannot compete with the better custom made gaming or the new modern PC with a dual core, quad core, i3, i5 or i7.......i need a new modern 'puter to compete or give an opinion on the new vp91x FS tables.....

i dropped a coin or 2....i walked away.....it was no good....the flippers were very lazy and worn out..... the table is in bad disrepair......the ball should jet through spinners back to the top....the general play of the table should not be lazy.....flippers should be strong.

the more we compete the more we have fun...

to be honest, i PERSONALY dont care if you change power or angle or things like that, until you dont set a game on 5 balls while its on 3, this seems logical of course

chas>>>>>ummm, you lost me......maybe i was not clear......i dont want to compete with the original table settings out of the DL.....i dunno what 3/5 ball has anything to do with the idea of the thread.....im talking about flipper stength, oblique, scaling size, slings strength, table slope, elasticity of the rubber bumpers and pegs etcc......most of the time flippers are too weak or too strong and slings are too weak....no kick......rubber bumpers and rubber pegs have elastic setting of 0.4 - 0.7.....the ball seems to gain speed after hit with a rubber bumper/peg.....i played plenty real PB as far back as the mid 70s when PB was everywhere.....my local bowling alleys kept the tables in fair to good condition.....after 1 yr maybe a little more the tables would get played.....i would go into play and a table may have an out of order sign on it and the lights were out......they turned it off or unplugged it.....sometimes it looked ok and drop a coin(25cents 3plays 5ball) and start it up.....it had a broken flipper.....it took a week or 2 to fix it but they got around to it.....the program is good and very capable to do what you want......i dont want to play on the original settings.....

Lights and arrows are very small and confused on this table, so often you don't clearly know what u have to do!

3 OR 4 LAST FRONTIER..the only thing i know is that the last one was 250milion per shot! (unfurtunatly the balls drained too soon and i have made very low score) and last x3 jackpot was over 800 milion!
honestly i think i am really a very good player! (and i have losed 2 or 3 balls for flipper's delay.....)
