Thanks JP but I get this error when trying to run it: "Line 81 - Variable is undefined :cvprnTrough'"

I have changed the controller line to read: Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")

I run in FS cabinet mode usually...

Any help, greatly appreciated :)

You need the new vbs files. Unpack them from the VP10 zip file. That error is because I used the new command for the Trough.

thank jp , you are the best 3d%20(225).gif

too hot in Spain

Well, I don't know in Spain, but I'm in Oslo, and it is cold :)

Thanks JP! :)

I had the up-to-date .vbs files in 'Scripts' but hadn't copied them into the 'Tables' folder. D'oh!

Thanks for the help and thank you for the tables too :)

Ok, since it is Christmas :) I have uploaded my latest version of AFM. This has been my test table since the first versions of VP10, but I only uploaded a very first version. I guess it could use better graphics, more real like 3D ufos, but I like it like it is :)

Well, there is something new in this table: I used 4 images to make the light inserts, and a small change in the fading routine. I use the 4 images and the on and off light states to make the lights. I also used some color grade change in the gi. I set the intensity of the lights to 0, and if some of the lights are not bright enough then I increase the intensity by 0,25 until htye are as bright as I want, this way I don't need to work so much with photoshop. So it is the "old" to make the fading light + using the new features of VP10.

I also made a new ball. I wanted something that looked like a metal ball and not a crystal ball, and at the same time I wanted to be able to see the reflection of the gi lights on it. I do not know if you will like the ball, but it is easy t change :)

Another thing in this table is a small change in the physics of all objects, with an increase in elasticity and friction. This is more close to the guidelines of Mukuste and Jimmyfingers. This is the first table which has this change in the physics. I'll be updating the other 9 test tables (I also be adding the new 3D targets).

As a bonus you will find also my version of Grand Prix, which is more or less my Nascar table with some GP cars and some changes in the graphics. Basically it is the same as the Nascar table but with the GP rom :)

So go to my site to get those tables.

attachicon.gifAFM_WIP12.jpg

attachicon.gifJP-GP.jpg

I tried some other settings on Grand Prix/Nascar.....slope min/max to 5, and playfield friction to 0,01, and it feels more like the real thing. I play Grand Prix pretty often! :)
Else for that, they are awesome! :D

Hi there,

one quick question regarding the controller.vbs file.

Is there a way to reset the answers to the questions about the HW in your cab?

I tried to overwrite the file, but the info seem to be saved somewhere else.

Thx.

Pierre....in the User folder....you'll find Controller.txt. Delete or rename that file, and you will get the DOF config questions again.

You can also edit the file, it is nicely setup with self explanatory labels, just change 0 to 1 to enable a device, or the other way around.  I do this frequently so I can test b2s tables on my laptop by changing the first line, normally I don't want b2s running on the laptop so my file looks like this:

forcedisableB2S=1
UseDOFcontactors=0
UseDOFKnocker=0
UseDOFChimes=0
UseDOFBell=0
UseDOFGear=0
UseDOFShaker=0

nFozzy and JP,

Congo is amazing! Plays really well. Nicely adjusted level of bloom brings out the beautiful lighting on this one. Volcano looks especially cool and realistic (looks hot!). Totally smooth gameplay until multiball that causes just a bit of stutter on gtx750ti.

Thanks for the wonderful gift!

:)

I can make and maintain a new Part 2 thread. If anyone agree let me know. I will start with new tables organized by months, information of last submitted date/time and author.

For example:

One more before Christmas, Congo (Williams 1995)

A conversion/mod of JPSalas's VP9.2 table. Some flasher images are from LoadedWeapon's Night mod.

Let me know if the Volcano diverter isn't working properly, it might be buggy. The Grey looks pretty ratty in desktop mode right now, I'll see about making a primitive one for future versions.

You've done it again nFozzy. Great table!

I'm a little confused with Congo... I took a look at the GI and noticed they were all within square borders... like vp9 flashers?? some are using ramps with flasher images?... just wondering why use that old technique seems it would be harder to implement, then to use the newer lighting....  this is a nice dark table where shaping the GI to create shadows would be a great touch.... could just be me...

Congo VP10 looks so good, I'm thinking hybrid lighting effects may be a good way to go (?) ;P
