Here is an update to my Space Walk table.  Resized to correct proportions, updated some graphics, updated elements to new vpx items (drop targets mainly), updated scoring routine, and mostly DOF added by arngrim.

On my dropbox HERE

What a beauty BD! :D

One of my favorite tables next to Genie (1979 Gottlieb) when it comes to the graphics. Space Walk + VPX = WIN

BorgDog......Space Walk is really awesome...well done!
It is way to fast though, and the ball friction is to high, and flippers, bumper, slings aso are way to strong!
In real life these EM's and SS's tables was really slow...and boring, so i don't know what is the best...this feels more of a challenge! :D

LOL  yeah, I've heard the speed comments, and although I agree somewhat, from what I can tell the later EM's sped up quite a bit over the earlier ones.  I mostly just try to make them play close to videos I find as I don't have access to this actual table to play, and even if I did they can be setup differently as well.  Feel free anybody to modify any of my tables however you like and share back.

Mostly I like the sound and look of the EM tables and the faster pace of the newer tables, so I guess that's how I tend to put them together, as you say zany, more of a challenge!  :)

Thanks everyone for the comments.

One minor bug in Space Walk...the 100.000 lit in the backglass remains lit when starting a new game....it doesn't add that to your score though.
My best score so far is 119.570! :)

I never change settings on tables, i always want to play them as most other play them...it is more fun that way, to compete when it comes to scores! :)
I do comment tables, as i did with yours...but it is all up to you, and how you want it to play! :D

Thanks for finding the bug zany.  Should be fixed now, re-uploaded to same location, and included controller.vbs for those that may not have it yet.

sorry I"m trying to fix a bug on that table, but I can't seem to get it to work.

flasher 18 and 19 are suppose to trigger when the slingshots are hit.

the flashers work when the game is over, so I know they work.  but I can't seem to get them to trigger with the slingshots; even when I add a code to manually trigger them.

I wanted to fix that before I uploaded a new version.

the switch on one of the ramps (trigger switch #62 is on the wrong position and surface)

I just updated the table with he switch moved to the surface of Ramp 208 (the metal ramp)

edit

I also added Genie (Gottlieb)

BorgDog, awesome table, I love these old EM's with simple rules and multiple drop target banks. 156K so far and no problems to report. Only had to adjust layback a bit for the kicker to show properly. The GI under plastics looks really nice and really pops when you lower the day/night slider. Great job!

Let me know if the Volcano diverter isn't working properly, it might be buggy. The Grey looks pretty ratty in desktop mode right now, I'll see about making a primitive one for future versions.

Ok, since it is Christmas :) I have uploaded my latest version of AFM. This has been my test table since the first versions of VP10, but I only uploaded a very first version. I guess it could use better graphics, more real like 3D ufos, but I like it like it is :)

Well, there is something new in this table: I used 4 images to make the light inserts, and a small change in the fading routine. I use the 4 images and the on and off light states to make the lights. I also used some color grade change in the gi. I set the intensity of the lights to 0, and if some of the lights are not bright enough then I increase the intensity by 0,25 until htye are as bright as I want, this way I don't need to work so much with photoshop. So it is the "old" to make the fading light + using the new features of VP10.

I also made a new ball. I wanted something that looked like a metal ball and not a crystal ball, and at the same time I wanted to be able to see the reflection of the gi lights on it. I do not know if you will like the ball, but it is easy t change :)

Another thing in this table is a small change in the physics of all objects, with an increase in elasticity and friction. This is more close to the guidelines of Mukuste and Jimmyfingers. This is the first table which has this change in the physics. I'll be updating the other 9 test tables (I also be adding the new 3D targets).

As a bonus you will find also my version of Grand Prix, which is more or less my Nascar table with some GP cars and some changes in the graphics. Basically it is the same as the Nascar table but with the GP rom :)

So go to my site to get those tables.
