Can't wait to try it, Nfozzy. Looks beautiful!

Dozer - I'm not in front of my machine at the moment, but what does "replacing the HDR image" refer to? I'm thinking it's one selectable in the drop down menu on table settings, labeled "light emission image" or something like that (?) Does this act as a sort of filter (VP Instagram style)?

If you get a chance, would you mind uploading that image you use in some of your tables? I'd love to experiment with swapping those images out to see the effect.

Once again - I may be talking total nonsense as playing with the editor is totally new to me. :P

but use hauntfreak HDR image, is very good too. He posted here a few pages back. Oh! and if it too bright just turn bloom to like 30% for example.

Thanks for the last beta nfozzy, will give it a play later tonight. Cheers!

btw, you can extract the hdr image of Dozer from his other releases ;)

Space Station (Williams 1987) - based on Hmueck's vp9 table

Fair warning: it's a performance hog. For a game from 1987, there's an unhoIy amount of lamps. Lowering AntiAliasing helps.

Great job nFozzy! Plays great.

I don't seem to be having the frame rate issues that some others have. It's stable and consistent for me.

I had stutter with robocop, I messed with the settings, and got it to run smooth. Took me three, or four configurations to get it. But it will run smooth. Fxaa-1 antialaising -1 vsync 60

Hi Ben, that's it  - Environment Emission Image.  It's the HDR image file that is used to light the whole scene.  You can try different ones by loading a table and seeing what the author has used and then exporting it from the image manager and then importing it into the table you'd like to try it on.

Thanks Fozzy for the table WIP. I cannot get the ball to plunge into play, it gets to the very top and comes back. I enabled the plunger and have turned up the plunger mech strengh to 350! Do I need to use the latest build of VP10? I think I am 5 versions back...

Awesome, Dozer. I'll give exporting and reimporting a try. I shoulda thought of that on my own! Thanks for the tip. :P

nFozzy -

Wow! Space Station is so great. Amazing job on this one. Love what you've done with the lighting. When the table goes dark you can really see some cool contrast. On my machine (gtx750ti) yours is actually one of the smoother playing tables.

I especially like the purple lights that reflect on the ball while it's rolling atop the plastic loft directly after launch. Also - I forget how reliant I am on post-passes. This table forces you to hit the ball on the fly more often. Really fun!

Thanks so much.

:)

Edit: Forgot to mention my favorite lighting effect of yours: The way the recessed lighting pulsates is killer! Some of them flash (rom controlled?) by other seem to pulsate like they're affected by underpowered outlet. I love that look. How did you do it? Or, are all the recessed lights getting their instructions for their behavior from the rom?

Edit #2: Whoa! Spoiler alert: The drastic change in lighting when you hit the multiball is totally killer! I'm blown away by this one. What a creative idea. :D

sliderpoint and I have made some updates to our Golden Birds table, an Angry Birds themed Golden Arrow.  Added a bird save routine, additional scoring objects and bonus mode,  a few new sounds, added some primitive toys and features, and tweaked gameplay and graphics.  Download includes directb2s file as well.

Robocop (Data East 1989)BETA for VPXrev2409+

Created by ICPjuggla, Talantyyr, Dozer316 and dark

This is a 'from scratch' build

This was a team effort all the way.
- ICPjuggla worked on the basic build, lighting and a bunch of other stuff.
- Talantyyr did all the graphics from scratch and vectorized everything
- Dozer316 did the scripting and helped out in many areas of the build
- dark built a bunch of custom 3D models for this which put the table over the top..

Special thanks to the test team
- zany
- freneticamnesic
- Fulltilt
- theloafer
- gtxjoe
