My keys in VP are mapped to different than defaults, so I was having the start game problem as well, I just changed script line 145 to:

If keycode = StartGameKey Then StartButton()

I also changed line 147 to:

If keycode = AddCreditKey Then Coin()

But I am also getting errors about not being able to load music files

"BASS music/sound library cannot load C:\Visual Pinball\Music\bgout_L1.mp3"

The files are there in that folder (naming case matches as well).

The rest works, b2s ultra/xdmd, table plays.  Just gets interrupted when appropriate about not being able to load those files from the music folder.

-Mike

EDIT:  just figured out where the problem is.  In VP audio options the Backglass Sound Device must be set to the "PRIMARY SOUND DRIVER" or else you get those errors instead of the files playing.

I'm not sure where that falls as a bug, not sure if the table script is specifically calling the primary sound driver or VPX has a problem or the b2s, or the xdmd........ or what.   But that gets the table working without errors for me.

I don't know what your normal start button is, it works fine with my normal start button, which is default (1). Are you entering coins first?

changed also the scriptlines 145 and 147 and it works now for me also ..

is there a option to not see the reflection of the flippers on the playfield ?

jackpot ramp? The elevator thing? How many balls was it? I wonder if there's a way to script a ball finder in here.. I've never done anything like that

Fren,

Just updated VPx from 2112 to 2120. Now the ball gets stuck in kicker (KiDoor) next to ghost. It kicks but only jumps and falls back into the kicker, some times have to nudge it in but still gets stuck in hole. I'm running AMH version 071012a.

Happens on both my PC's.

Rich

PS: Just tried VPX Rev 2143, still same problem with Kicker, also now the playfield is black, inserts look ok.

I have the same problem (with the latest versions of AMH and VPX) and nudging doesn't do the trick, unfortunately .  The ball just hovers right over the kicker as soon as it goes in past the door, and after that it doesn't want to move.  I have to exit out of the table and restart in order to play again.  Thx.

It's a VPX bug with the new kickers.  Select that kicker and Check Legacy.  You'll lose the amazing effect of it rolling in, but it won't get stuck anymore.

I've got a bit of an idea actually... maybe it will work. It works in my head so that means it probably won't actually work...

It has to do with a ball entering the kicker too quickly after it fired (that I've seen), so maybe having 2 kickers, and toggling their enable flags each time one's hit might solve it.

I think the kicker kicks out the ball, and then catches it again in the air without letting it fall down.
