test run of the glow rope around the backbox looks pretty good so i think i'll be adding that there later on.

i'm also thinking of ditching windows 7 64bit and installing xp 64bit that way it should get rid of stutter and also enable me to use UVP properly with no slowdowns?

i have set up over 15 setups for people, none have needed more than 3gb of ram and everything runs perfect even monopoly but i use a special version that i am not allowed to release

just ran into an annoying problem if i start hyperpin from the startup menu it will freeze after 5-10 secs. but if i wait for about 30 secs after startup than click the shortcut and run it doesn't freeze...man how annoying so everytime i have to scroll with the mouse to start it

ok here's pics of the wiring as requested and pics of the machine running. the computer is not in the cab yet i'll put it in later after i've built a drawer. for now this baby is all running i've already played my sister a few times on it (and beat her )

here's the wiring i'll be tidying it up later with computer cable tidy tubes


the computer is on a piece of mdf wood i'll be attaching drawer slides to the sides and than when i can figure out how to mount the damn thing inside the door it'll be going in the cab

the custom wheel zubulon made with a green tint and glow ring i added to go with the whole glow green theme and it just sets the menu off the chain!


still left to do
light the buttons and connect them to the psu
speakers in the backbox than wire them to the Yamaha sub
mount the service buttons
mount the plunger microswitch
drawer for computer and mount it ?
apron for the front
mount the green neons under the cab when they arrive
figure out how the hell to mount the green glow wire around the inside of the backbox (right now blu-tak is holding it there )
mount the glass railings
buy and install playfield glass
spray paint the sides of the glass black to hide the gaps in the back and sides of the tv (gaps in sides help with air flow anyway)

I'd route a slot around the front edge of the backbox that is the same width as the glow wire, then slip the glow wire into it with a little bit of adhesive behind it - then it'd be perfectly straight and flush - a professional look.

sorry dont have a router or the skills to use and never used one. i asked my bro in law he said that would be really tricky to do and i dont wanna stuff up the backbox
