I didn't see this one in the PDF, and apparently it's been dropped from PINemHigh's game list*, so if no one minds, I'll submit this here.

*EDIT/Correction: While T2 VP8 is absent from PINemHigh v1.0, it is available in v1.5, which I finally got working. I think.

Leave it to me to find the Orphans---

Looking for VP8 tables to play in conjunction with PINemHigh, I thought I'd try PIN-BOT since I'm already familiar with Jack*Bot. Wondering what kind of scores I'd be chasing, I checked the PDF; no scores listed. For unclewilly's VP9, yes, but not for VP8. So, even though it's probably just a drop in the bucket, I'll put this up and see if anyone wants to 'put me in my place'. Maybe after examining the rulesheet for dissimilatities to Jack*Bot, I'll make a better showing.

I also tried the Tower Of Pin at pcpinball.com to see some scores, but the site is all but gone.

While I remember playing Jack*Bot 'back in the day', I don't think I ever even saw a Pinbot; hence the slow start.

the game was 2 hours circa. jpsalas LOTR is not very difficult...if you see, MEGAPIN/GRONI's table has a lowest high score 'cause shots are not accurate (so more real?) like this one.

I have both versions. Is jpsalas version more fun to play you think?

Damn, two hours. Thats really good! Do you lose a ball when you destroy the ring? My flippers always stop working when I do that and I don't know if I lose the ball or not. smile.gif

I haven't played Lord Of The Rings yet, but Attack From Mars kills the flippers and lets the ball/s drain when you complete the mode that makes you "Ruler of the Universe". After a bunch of fanfare and a parade, a ball is fed to the launcher and play continues. Would LOTR be doing about the same thing?

Wow, impressive! Ever thought of trying FS tables? We could go head-to-head on LOTR! But for now I will concede the unofficial HS for FS and 4:3 combined to you. So the game took about 2 hrs, did you reach Valinor? And if so, how much did the Valinor Multiball yield? Right now I'm still deep in Skyrim, but I'm thinking about adding things to the LOTR rulesheet that was written by Metallik. Maybe you like to contribute also? You are certain to have some insight in this pin.... smile.gif

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

yes i have found the Valonor Multiball, but i have made a very bad score on it (less than 150 milion)....at the last last ball i was less than 1,300,000,000 so i was very afraid for a possible short ball! when you destroy a ring, is normal that flippers stop workin', is not a ball lose. yes jp salas table are really more fun, but sure more easy...i like the great response of the flippers, but i think is too much easy catch the ball although many kind of skills that i can made on a real pinball are impossible to made on a VP TABLE (i talk about a BALL PASS OR A "LIVE STOP AND GO" that are the skills i really love!)

mee too...and i really don't like extra-ball burned during multiball...i prefer less extraball but without continued play. and still not understood how the game count the bonus ....last game i have started the last ball with just 2,7 bilion bonus...so game plan became only take bouns x for the rest of the game...

Think its time I play this one again ......... finally picked up my real one today. Flippers on newer sterns seem really nice for tricks and passes.

One of the guys that plays on our local one got 1,680,000,000 couple of weeks ago. Got Valinor twice. Almost 3hr game.
We took video of Valinor and I think its been post on AAforums linked to facetube.
