Bumping this...I dont think it was commented to. :)

Feature request for slingshots rubbers.

Would it be possible to have a sling rubber and add the sling function to it rather than using a wall? Could the area between two points on the rubber but changed to a "trigger" to do what the walls have typically done for us? It would be nice to be able to not rely on walls for triggers for slings and rubber hit animations. Thanks

With the Stern LE games, etc off the ground, would it be possible to add a key mapping for "Stern Fire Button" in the "keys, nudge and DOF" preferences?

Also... just tried to import one of my backdrop pov .xml files to a table and got a "parsing" error message.  Is this due to recent changes?  If so, is it fixable so that our old .xml files are not broken?  Thanks.

I like this idea of a Fire button. It does not have to be Stern specific though

rev3040 is up:

- copy backdrop image over from DT for FSS (if nothing is setup for FSS)
- fix drop down list bug for backdrop view mode (hopefully)

This is not that easy to add but it should be possible...I don't know when I will find the time to look deeper into that because besides from the hit shape calculation changes I have to change the UI to let the user define which side/control point should fire a hit event. Such thing isn't supported in the editor at the moment. Walls are similar but not the same...

Will come with the next update. The reason why an error pops up is that the new POV format also includes FSS settings and if you exported POV settings with an older version these FSS settings are missing.

As a workaround you can do the following:

1. export a dummy POV file with 10.3

2. open the exported xml file and copy everything from <fullsinglescreen> to </fullsinglescreen>

3. paste this fullsinglescreen part into your xml file you want to import with 10.3

I think the problem there is that there is no consistent switch mapping for the lockbar button. But i could still offer a consistent key that VP offers that authors could then use for this.

..and it's in..  :)

so now the table authors can use that new call (LockbarKey) similar to the other keys and map it to the respective switch..

Has there been any consideration to adding improved wire guide tools? It'd be nice to have control points that allow bending etc. Lots of workarounds out there but I'm sick of workarounds.

I still would like to see copy/paste in the context menu, whether I could press ctrl c and v or not. ;)

Is there a possibility to display the messages (e.g. when pressing F1) in exclusive fs mode?

I noticed that the built in timer support for ramp objects in 10.2 are not supported - script error

Copy/paste in the context menu will come with the next update. Which messages do you want to display in exclusive fs mode?

Yes but that's not so easy or fast implemented as you might think ;) I have an idea how to add such thing but I need more time for testing and coding it and time is a bit limited at the moment here.

Ah ok.no that's not possible because the options are dialogs and these won't show up in exclusive mode

Yup, exclusive mode is exclusive, like the name already implies.  :)

Thanks! Its fixed.

The table is automatically saved even with the checkbox "Auto-Save" disabled.

Is this still the case? Will add a small tweak just to be sure, so please recheck with the next build.
