What's your AV on these machines? I know a couple of VPX tables out there are 100% unplayable if my AV software is running.

Okay I think I figured it out. I had "use sound" un-checked in the tables VPM properties for testing, and this was causing the sever stutter. Now one would think that disabling functionality would have the opposite effect...but not here. Looks like a VPM bug.

 

Re-checked the setting, and tghe tables plays as it should.

I played 4 games with no issues. During the first ball of the 5th one, the ball started to freeze making all 3 balls unplayable. It did not seem to be related to te head at all. Other than rotating the table, I did not change any settings (I did enable fastflips though). I can tell you later what BG Im using, in case that helps. My system is pretty powerful.

Ill check the sound setting in vpm later, though I doubt I changed it from the default.

I got the stuttering issue resolved, and the table will need a good bit more testing for new bugs. There is a ton of new stuff going it compared to the last release.

 

But I do have a question from some of you folks who might know. Are the four faces translucent meaning that light can pass through them? Or can light NOT pass through them. I am getting mixed results from watching vids.

When you disable sound, you disable the sound hardware emulation completely.    So the ROM will often struggle because it no longer finds the hardware it is expecting.

want to test on low end system... for high end there are enough out there

Where can i find the rev 1.2? Performance issues seem to start with 1.3 and i'm getting heavy stutters with later versions.
