Pre-Alpha 2 will come with the ability to pass the options config file as a command argument (/config <path/to/your/profile/filename>). Thus, the user should only have to rename the current config file to whatever he likes it, relaunch, make another configuration, save it, rename the file and so on for the amount of profiles he want. Launching different profiles is then just a frontend configuration/job...

 

BilboX, do you have an updated ETA for alpha 2 ?

"Soon", can't give your real date . I just "finished" the current editor doc, need to format/publish/verify. We also have some annoying bugs we'd like to fix before releasing... Then we will publish the website with the actualized download section and user/Editor documentation... Scripting documentation will come later but table builder can rely on sample scripts by now.

 

Message to HighEnder00 (please, push him if you know him!): Do you allow me to distribute a UP mod of Scared Stiff please? Thanks!

BilboX, Highlnder00 hasn't been at the GoPinball forums since last year and sporadically prior to that; it appears he's stepped away after the Simpsons Party Pinball work.  You have the other authors permissions, yes?  I didn't see anything in his posting history to indicate he would be averse to this as there are a lot of mods of his and the other co-authors' tables.

Yes, Francisco666 and GLXB gave us their permissions for all their tables. So ok, I will release Scared Stiff for UP and, if he disagrees, remove it later... Thanks for the tip!

Although I haven't spoken with highlnder00 for a long time, I'm sure he would be fine with any on his work being used this way.
During my many emails with him when we worked on several tables, we even muted the idea of starting a new pinball engine, but it was beyond both of us.
After all your not modding his work and claiming it to be your own.
Btw would love to see IJPA and TSPP running on this.

Nope. Next one will be either Medieval Madness, Monster Bash, Attack from Mars, World Cup 94 or Theatre of Magic (tables I played in real)...

As for teh Scared Stiff Boogimen, I sculpted the class of 1812's heart toy for louizou's table. I made (again), a timelapase video of it:
