I'd just like to publicy say that I think that it's a very tough step to openly admit when your at fault, and I appauld Sabbat for doing so here.
On my belhalf, I completely accept your apology - we all make mistakes, and I've seen a lot of friendships lost through people's pride being too big (especially on internet forums!).

(I think I got particularly annoyed at the HS's going down as I'd spent all day playing Taxi, and got within a frustrating 100K of the listed score and was sure I was going to beat it! Never did though sad.gif)

Regards,
Dan.

Thanks Dan, by the way I beat your Beat This score, barely! I just didn't post it yet because I would be sad to take your only score down from the boards biggrin.gif

Is the Strikes 'N Spares Highscore done in Flash mode? If so, I got 3,022 on that. :3

Also, I have a NBA Fastbreak score of 111 points, no rings (and one shot away from the wizard mode, and probably a ring, no less >.>). I don't know how high scores for that will work, since I think the game itself scores rings with higher importance than points. I'll leave you to decide how highscores will work for that on this leaderboard, if at all.

EDIT: Actually, the rings only seem to matter for the team champion scores. The grand champion high score puts points at higher importance. Got a 216 with one ring and a 274 with none and my 274 score won out.

Also, just disregard my scores here. I now realize you check the high score thread, and...well, I've beaten my own high score about five times over now. lol

If you guys are in a hurry to see one of your scores updated on the list, and you know Sabbat waits for a bunch of scores to take a new screenshot and post it, isn't the solution obvious? Go beat scores on other tables to give him more to update!

Hello Sabbat, BUMPITY BUMP,
I just played the ALICE/regular version of Dis-arma-gedddon1.32 and got to France again on my third game. around 21million, but I wasnt trying to build up my bonus times just finishing for extra ball etc. It does take exceptional ball control to finish codes without the number penalty for wrong-colored ramps on regular, combine that with timers on expert and you get the idea. I guess the table was not meant for the casual players. I think additional soundtracks for each country would be in order, all though I do love the Porcupine Tree song.....Radioactive Toy for the disarm mode, but then I am a huge fan of PT.

Dedrock: I couldnt figure out how you flipped it five times till I actually played the game and noticed the yellow flags with numbers on it LOL, On my 3rd game I got 73x,xxx thousand it shows a 5 and a 2 flag lit up. I am not goinig to bump your score untill after its been up for a couple of weeks or somebody else or yourself beats it.

I hate that someone ruins my scores before they even get a chance to be posted.....Yeah, thats you RipleYYY, whtflag.gif
Just kidding, though I do wish that the whole process could get started with the nvrams and have a high score list that would include the top twentyfive players for each game etc, that Noah Fenz and others have been talking about. A close second place score is still quite an accomplishment with all these great online players.

Hello HOW,
Nice to see you. Sad to say I believe Computerfreak1 Passed away last summer in an accident. I didn't know him that well, but he did a great job at PU with rascal and others holding the VP tourneys. Maybe someone can post more details as to his sad departure.

Yogi is still around and has a nice sticky for newcomers to respond and still updates pinhead photos and such. His thread is in the first section of the forums in the 'welcome newcomers' section.

McD has a nice pinball music selection as well. and there are a few polls as to what are the favorited VPM and VP tables.

Mcd's Post with 55 pages and a hundreds of threads is a place to share your high scores in all games, VP, VPM and eventually Future pinball as well.

Mc'ds Thread is STICKIED in Visual Pinball Catagory as individual high scores. Your post here is IN Sabbat Moons Thread to Update the leaderboards in both VP8, and a new and improved VP9. Sabbat is only posting in this thread the Highest score gathered from McD;s thread so feel free to post your all time favorite High Scores there. VP9 has different flipper physics and a general better playing environment. Noah Fenz and Uncle Reamus and probably others, have developed a really realistic pinball environment, play wise, and graphically as well. Be sure to update to VP9 and download the revised and new Tables in those catagories. They also have an extensive list of Full Screen tables for those lucky ones who have built cabinets and playing on full size LCD monitors in the 32 to 47 in range.

Good to hear from you!!

Hi ANDROID

Thanks for that info. Real sorry to hear about Computerfreak sad.gif
As you say - PU was great and I know he was a big part of it.... RIP CF1.

Really want to try VP9 but having issues. Had to put VP8 on a new c
Laptop and used an install prog that did 8 & 9....8's fine but 9 gives errors (+ I only have a laptop-it's dual-core but not sure how it would cope....

Anyway I must get out of Sabbat's thread....! smile.gif
