Hello! Love the table ![]()
Do you have a guide for it though? I wonder how to trigger the different events ![]()

Also, this is more of a nitpick and probably a reflection of my lack of skill: The kickback out of the Venusaur seems to be very random and will frequently eject off of the bouncer and immediately drain out one of the outlanes. can this be adjusted to be more consistent, or at least feel less harsh?
what ever the name of that kicker is, pick it in the editor, and in the physics tab, look at it's scatter angle
if kicker is set to in script to
kicker.kick 90, 30 then the kicker will spit out the ball at 90 degrees, and a power of 30
but if the scatter angle is greater than 0 then the 90 degrees becomes +/- a random variance based on the scatter angle
So you can do 2 things
Lower the scatter angle, or adjust in the script, the direction in degrees it is launching the ball
or a combo of both depending on the outcome you want.
EDIT
I just wanted to add, that sometimes it may be simply a case of power
Perhaps the general direction and the variance are actually wanted, but the ball comes out just too hard
and so does unintended things, like making bee-lines to the outlane or launching half way across the table up hill diagonally before gravity even kicks in.
In which case simply working with the power value of the kick may be all that is needed.

Hi there!
Love this table, my wife and I have played it a whole bunch now. I ran into a bug a few times and I wanted to see if you had any advice on what was going on.
Every once in a while, the ball will get stuck at the top of the outer loop, near the egg hatching area. It will sit there and just kind of wiggle back and forth as if it's hung up on something.
Oddly enough, it is also happened to me on the blade runner 2049 table that is based off of this one. in that case all four balls of a multi-ball got stuck up there and I had to kill the table.
I don't know a lot about scripting, but from very basic review, I saw that there is a magnet nearby called magnet2. Could this be causing a problem?

I'm planning to make an update to the table (at the beginning of the next year I guess) and I'll check that outer loop. It may be possible the magnets activates when the 4 eggs are hatched but maybe it doesn't turn off after the ball goes to the hole, I'll need to check that ![]()
The kickback of the Venosaur goes though a turntable, that's why it is so random. Someting like in my Diablo table, where the two turntables send the ball a high speed in crazy directions
Maybe that was a little too much in Diablo ![]()

Diablo i never had a problem with.
Now Conan is another story, that turn table kicker throws the balls off the table on me
but it isn't your conan table, it's the other one, in FP

Thank you! This is super helpful. After digging around a bit it looks like it is called 'VenusaurHole' and its set to 'VenusaurHole.Kick 200, 8'. The scatter appears to be 0, but there definitely seems to be a little different each time. could the 'Accuracy' option be the cause of that? Its set to 0.7 currently. Here is a link to a snapshot if that helps(looks like I can't use the image tag yet) : Link

As I wrote a little up
It is not the kicker which gives the random, it is the turntable that spins the balls and gives that random effect. The meaning was that the exit of that Venusaur hole should not be predictable, and it should keep you on your toes ![]()

Ahh, okay that makes sense. Looking forward to the update!
Also, I just realized that you made the Diablo table as well, love it! I was going to post about an issue there, but you may of answered it. I was seeing the ball randomly speed up at weird angles - sounds like there is a turntable there I wasn't seeing.
Edit: Looks like my reply came in after yours. Either I'm posting slow, or you are posting fast, haha. Thanks for the info!

Look like the ball left the shadow behind. lol
I seem to remember Peter Pan having that same issue
I couldn't find the table. lol
Would be cool to have Peter Pan fly on the table.

I meant Peter Pan the boy

Hey, I have just discovered this and pinball in general but I absolutely love this table!
I am very new to this so forgive me if this is a stupid question but I cannot get sound effects working on this table at all. The music plays perfectly fine, and browsing the sound manager for the table I can hear the different music tracks but all of the sound effect wav files are silent. Even when I export one out it's silent in various media playing programs. I don't have sound effects muted or anything as far as I can see from the menus, am I missing the wav files for the sound effects?
Thanks in advance for any assistance, I appreciate it.

Everything is included in the table, sounds and music. But why the wave sounds doesn't work? I guess it may be your setup. So open the table, press F2 to open the sound menu, and take a look at the column "output", you'll see that some stays "table" and some "Backglass", try to find out which sounds are working, the ones market "table" or the "backglass" one. You may toggle the output by selecting the sounds and klik on the button at the right "Toggle BG out".
This setup works fine with people with cabinets so they can send the sounds to the table or to the backglass. I have a simple sound card, and I play with headphones, so it doesn't matter what I select in the menu, but other may try selecting all to table, or all to backglass.

If you can not even play his fx sounds when exporting and playing them in media player, then is not a VPX issue
unless you got a strangely corrupted download, it is a windows issue.
Perhaps something amiss with your audio codecs
he is just using normal 22khz 16 bit wav files for the effects.
But if windows can not play them alone, vpx wont be able to play them either.
You might try redownloading on the freak chance you got a bad download.
What kind of audio chip is in your PC?
Realtek?

Today I finally got down to setting up your Pokemon table for my desktop
I thought it was absolutely awesome when it came out, but very difficult to play.
Now I have rebuilt hauntfreaks direct.b2s and sent FLEXDMD to direct.b2s.
A late thank you for this wonderful table
