You have to set the rotation of xy to 270 in the options / backdrop of the table.

"Hottie mod" I gotta see this :) Thanks for the updates, such a great table. Is it time for me to dream aloud for a BOP 2.0 VP release?

Hey guys,

I am currently working on a big refresh of BOP, but need your guys help.

Currently, I am having performance issues likely related to the head rotation, that is making my latest beta and even the latest release, totally unplayable on all three PC's that run VP10. I am kind of leaning toward there being maybe a bug that has popped up as the VP10 has continued to evolve. The issue is severe stutter to the point where its not even possible to start a game.

So I need your guys help. I need you all to test the rev of BOP 1.3 and my latest WIP below to see if the table plays on your guys machines:

https://www.dropbox...._WIP_j.vpx?dl=0

Please let me know right away so I can continue progress.

Thanks :)

Well I just gave it a run and it worked fine.  Great actually.  It looks fantastic.  The only once I saw some ball stutter was when I hit a 4 loop combo and was dealt lots of red flashy lights but that only lasted a second or two.   Smooth as butter otherwise.   I'm vsync ON so that must be the only time it went under 60fps.     I didn't humanize her, but got past the eyeballs to the robot face.

Slings seem sensitive, as do the bumpers - the ball stays up there bouncing around more than normal..   It's hard to hit the money shot as the ball bounces off the flipper on the way down the lane... but maybe that's what you're after.  :)

Hey wrd,

Worked great on my humble specs machine. No stutter with vsync, quality anti-aliasing, dynamic ambient occlusion enabled.

GTX 750ti
Core i5
Windows 7
4 GB ram

Got to the third face, but not the fourth tonight. It’s a challenge! Looks fantastic. Thanks for the invitation to test.

:)

Thanks guys. Currently, the table is not dialed in, including the physics. But I need to figure out why it stutters horribly on my systems. Must be a video setting.

It did not use to do this at all. Weird!

Well this is just f'n insane. Still cant get it to run on my dev laptop properly. When the table starts, the face rotation occurs every single time...even when it should be properly calibrated from the previous table start. In the past, if the head was calibrated, it would not need this calibration. But now, it does it every single time.

Also the sequencing of the attract lights stutters big-time and the diag message on the displays, takes forever to clear. And of course, this happens on my desktop I use for development too. Oh, the cab too!

All three of my systems have plenty of power and at some time recently in the past, the table played fine. I just dont get it. I have reduced the setting in video to allow more resources, but nothing helps.

Anyone have any ideas? Or this table refresh goes to the back burner till a solution is found.

My layman’s suggestions: Delete nvram. Delete your rom and download a fresh one. Probably already tried these (?)

The first time I opened the table, I also had problems with the head, I deleted the nvram and then it played fine

It seems that it's like with Windows, if it doesn't work properly, reboot ! :)

Yep did that. :)

Looks like it may be something system related. Just tried my FH refresh, and its stuttering too. Gonna do some more troubleshooting.
