1. Balls A Poppin'   (see vp 8 version at irpinball from 1950s by me and Jpsalas) --permission granted

 

2. Turf Champ (never done before) - horse racing

 

3. Bobo   (see vp 8 version at irpinball from 1960s by moi)- permission granted

 

4. Nags - by me and redone...but never done with rotating bumpers..lights rotate instead which is a workaround--but the bumpers are supposed to spin around on a big wheel.

 

5. World Champ (see vp8 version at irpinball from 1950s by moi especially for Russ Jensen, his fav table ever)...

That was an unexpectedly worthwhile trip to google.    Lots of good stuff.   I didn't realize the VP community had another faction out there.  

 

Here's my top 5:

 

1) White water (modern update needed)

2) Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure (Williams) (vp9 version is nice but such a good game it deserves all the new effects)

3) Rollergames (modern update needed)

4) F-14 Tomcat (light show would be great on this one)

5) Earthshaker (modern update needed)

 

There are lots of others where a VPX would be nice to have if nothing else for the ball effects.   It's really something to see the light reflect off the ball when it comes down the outlane.    But the VP9.9/Physmod versions are good enough that they aren't quite as high a priority for me.

A table I really enjoy and rarely mentioned is Freefall. It plays very well in VP9 , has some cool sound, and great gameplay. The others I would like have already been mentioned

me too!

 

zany recently bought a Gilligan's Island.  Both zany and I love this table for a variety of reasons.  We do plan to team up with a table author at some point and build the table from scratch.  Between zany and myself we'll make all the 3D elements that the table could possibly need.  I can't promise any kind of specific time frame for this, but early stage plans have been hatching for a while now.
