For FP, you can use Carny_Priest's FuturePinball version :  http://www.gameex.in...#comment-154842

HyperRecorder beta updated.  I have recorded PF and BG videos working on my old Hyperpin install now.

Give this one a try.  Must be unzipped in the existing PBX Recorder folder available (https://drive.google...c&usp=drive_web)

During loading progress bar, you can press PAUSE key to pause pbxrecorder. When table is fully running, press PAUSE key to start the recording

What a great tool. Love it. I have updated to version 1.4 and enjoy the ability to simply drag my new vpx,vpt tables over it to record them.

Figured out my issue with it not recognizing my vpx tables (Simply had to identify System Type = Visual Pinball in pinballx setup).

Great great tool.

Well done.

This was brought up before -- the problem with recording during pbxrecorder is that most machines dont have any sounds when first starting up. Later rom pins may have a bit of sound but primarily you want sounds during game play.

gstav (i believe this is right) has done a lot of work to record almost every table that is out there. It is a bit of work to get the naming right but this is likely your best course of action.

Gstav 's table audio and table launch audio are great

As was mentioned audio can be done. Probably a one or two line change to do it. But it means you have to babysit every recording session which defeats the purpose.

I am sure Carney will see this and respond. Or I can look it up and try this weekend

Yes, it is possible. You will need to enable stereo mix to capture the audio signal that is sent to the speakers.

http://www.howtogeek...o-record-audio/

You will need to identify the name of the DirectShow device that is exposed when you enable stereo mix

ffmpeg -list_devices true -f dshow -i dummy

There may be a number of devices to examine but it should not be terribly difficult to identify. It will probably have the sound card manufacturer name or something associated with the brand.

Include a dialog where the user enters the name of the device. It should be entered exactly how it is identified in the above ffmpeg command.

From there, yes. tweaks to a couple of lines of code.

I included the option in some early capscreen scripts of mine, but I never really used it, again because not many machines make a lot of noise in attract mode. And I tend to keep PinballX on all the time, so it is like my screensaver.

Have been testing the Hyperpin version and am quite impressed that it can record so many missing f4v files that are playable as table videos by Hyperpin.  A couple of issues that I have found with the program is that the ESC key does nothing.  It will not stop recording or the script running.  I also noticed that none of my VPX tables are able to be recorded even though I have asssociated my VPX files with my VPINBALLX.EXE........  I really like drag and drop option as well but again, only for true VPT files.

Thanks TT11 for testing Hyperpin version :)

- Added the vpexetables.txt file support, so VPX tables should work now

- As for ESC to exit the sript, it is working on my cab.  Maybe try a PC reboot or make sure no other autohotkey is running that is processing the ESC keypress.  If that doesn't work, open the .ahk file and search for Esc:: and change it to any other letter as a test, for z change Esc:: to z::

Here is the updated HyperRecorder  (requires that you unzip this in the PBX Recorder folder.  Download PBX Recorder here:  http://www.vpforums....showfile=11913)

:love39: :otvclap:  It's a go-er gtxjoe.  Tested the new version this morning and VPX tables now create videos and I also notice that both ESC and PAUSE keys function were working for me !!!

I just want to say one more time how unbelievably awesome, and EPIC, this tool really is. And I feel confident, I can speak for the community as a whole.

It is not very often that my expectations can be exceeded to this degree...as with this usefulness of PBXrecorder. Its as though it was crafted by angels and sent from on "High".

I can now spend more time "making beers and drinking tables." :bar2:
