That seemed to help a little, but I ended up just running msconfig and having all of my non microsoft services fully disabled at startup and the loading got much better, still a tad slower (5-10 seconds) for me than 10.6 but much more reasonable.  I tried to then enable each service 1 by one to figure out the culprit but I can't get the original issue to come back again.  confusing to say the least.  But for now, I went ahead and disabled all startup non microsoft services except an nvidia service.   So i would call my issue mostly resolved I guess.  With teamviewer also not connected it seems to have helped a bit also, having that running does impact load times a little, but wasn't the full culprit.  But to be sure I stopped using teamviewer now that I upgraded to 10.7 ( I had no issues with 106) for remote connections if I need to.

I just reinstalled Win10 for a fresh start on new motherboard and CPU (Hyperthreading on, or whatever the AMD equivalent is called nowadays).

I did the exact same thing as you... installed Baller and then overwrote the files with the ones in 10.7 standalone (for the latest 10.7.0 actual release). I then just swapped the 10.6.1 exe file in Baller for the last 10.6.2 final.

But I haven't had any of the issues you are. 10.7 loads tables almost twice as fast as 10.6. Batman 66 loads in about 12 seconds with 10.7.

 

There are quite a few overwrites though when doing this. And I did disable a few Win10 stuff like defender and a couple of others. But I didn't disable anything as much as my previous install as my new system runs it all smooth anyway (Ryzen 5 2600X).

Mine also is a dedicated pincab running nothing but VPX (10.6 and 10.7) through PinballX with just PinVol and EqAPO as non Windows stuff in the background (and Nvidia control panel).

I'm guessing these newer tables have been created with the "beta/unofficial" 10.7.1 and the only way to stop the error from popping up is to install the unofficial build or make a table adjustment and save it with our official 10.7?

try saving a copy of the table 1st
just in case the unpredictable happens

 

if after some testing, it seems fine, then yes, having 10.7.0 save them should clear the message

 

Test some table copies 1st though
sometimes data structure changes might take place in newer versions that an older version may not understand

I have made the experience that a new save with 10.7.0 eliminates the message. Adittionally I have had not any trouble using 10.7.2- tables with 10.7.0.

 because you are double clicking a table file? (-exit arg)

You can right click on table and click Edit, and the Editor will pop up with the table.

 

Or click Preferences tab at top of Editor, and click Editor/UI Options.

Now checkmark "When exiting the table player, show File Dialog again".
