Hi Chepas,

 

Yep it's weird to see a not enough memory error with 8 Gb of RAM and a Core i7-4770  :hmm:

 

The Skeleton game works just a little, let's say 3 seconds after the ball comes on the playfield, the script stops with an error - I've got this on my PC at work, on my cab the ball never appears.

 

Cactus Canyon also works very well.

Not much better results Chepas, I'm running Win10 x64, up to date.

 

I've got the ball in Skeleton (only had it for the first time, the next time I launch the table I can't get it), and few seconds later :

I may say shitty things, but it seems we're having a python encode() decode() issue somewhere ?

I have the same error than shadowshd and Skeleton juste works a few seconds then crashes with the "ordinal not in range".

So when we launch skeleton without VP, we just start the DMD and it's working great (in cmd.exe).

Hi guys,

 

You know what resolved my issues with Skeleton and Evil Dead ?? My french keyboard settings.

 

No, I'm not kidding, I'm absolutely serious. We discussed the issues with Arngrim, and as a "final" I don't believe it a second but I'm so desperate that I have nothing to loose to try, I added and set a belgium keyboard in my Windows prefs, and the tables are just working as they should !!

 

No more ascii error, no more not enough memory, it just works !!!

 

Unbelievable !!!

In addition with Windows 7 FR, no need for the BE keyboard, just set the "Format" to "France (Belgique)" in "Région et langue" and the unicode error disapears  :love39:

thank you very much Chepas  for table  evil dead it is just amazing !!!
it became one of my favorite tables)
the French community of pinball arcade cabinet thank you enormously for your work :)
have struggled to turn P-ROC with evil dead in France but our friends and Arngrim shadow of pincab  passion forum in France have managed to solve the problem and it was not easy to find
thank you very much to them
I will closely follow your work
I am anxious to see the sin city and the jaws !!! :)
