as for the lights: hmmm.. sounds to me like it makes sense to keep the existing solution then, and i'll simply add this additional flag for the off state/image then.. cool..

Yah, for now probably just simpler that way.  Thanks for your interest in improving / building in the fading lights aspect though.

Same crash issue here. Get one play then you need to exit the editor to play again

Please try rev 577. I found some issues with the region updates and the vertex buffer handling for the balls. After I fixed that I can restart any table without problems.

I have tried the rev577 for about 20 minutes, editing, running, editing, running... and it has not crashed :) So far so good! :)

Also the squares around the ball while under the flashers seem to be gone now, so well done fuzzel!

Hey fuzzel you and toxie are doing such a great job and thanks to kodiac for compiling them so quickly.

I do have wierd issue. I am testing a table right thats having a crashing issue. Here's where it gets interesting. It crashes only with the following setup:

Win XP, VP any build after 525, and when it access ledcontrol.ini (forcefeedback) table config.

I looked up what changed in build 524 Which means something in build 525 is causing the issue:

increase fps by using a vertex buffer for alpha ramps

Keep in mind if I run Windows 7, any build u vp up to 577 and ledcontrol.ini it works fine, if I run winxp and any build of vp up to 577 and dont run ledcontrol.ini table config it runs fine.

I can PM you with further details.

wow that's indeed weird... and a tough one to reproduce as I don't use Win XP neither I have ledwiz or such things... It sounds like some kind of a driver issue, but send me the details and perhaps toxie or I'am able to fix it.

Hey toxie and fuzzel: now you have a test table for the flashers, my NBA table. There is still some squares around the ball when the ball travels under the flashers :)

Ok found the bug. It came in with rev494 that explains why you see white lines in version 9.15 too.
I try to fix it asap.
