Oh ok from the listing it seemed confusing like you have to pick if you wanted a red one, a blue one, or a green one

It doesn't seem to ask anywhere what color you want when you order. Weird.

I just ordered 2, but god only knows what color I'll get.

Edit: Maybe if I read the whole page, I would have noticed that I was supposed to specify the color in the comments when ordering. Man, I'm awesome! LOL. Now I'll have to send him a separate message to tell him. Go me!

I don't think it will fix the UVP issue. Let us know your results.

Only specific drivers will allow a multi-monitor, SLI configuration bladex.

Make sure you run WinIPAC as Administrator. It needs direct access to the device. That's a good place to start.

I had issues programming it at first, too, but I can't remember exactly what I did to solve it. It might have been as simple as the Administrator thing.

I do remember downloading the latest version of the software (http://www.ultimarc.com/download.html), which might have helped me, too.

If all else fails, Google it. I found lots of hits when I Googled "IPAC failed to program device". If none of that works, contact Andy at Ultimarc and ask for help.

I think there is some sort of a speed setting slider that you can adjust to slow down the iPac programming. I remember having to do that in order to get it to program.

If all else fails, try to program it with a different pc. Or like Darkfall said, call Andy.

slow down the transfer speed like rawd said or use a ps2 cable, there are known issues when it comes to programming via usb

there is a setting with a slider bar, it is not dumping the data quick enough so slide the timer to allow the max time before timeout

Goes at the front edge of the top plate at the rear of the base cab.

if that's the case than the dmd monitor is gonna be in front of it cos it drops down meaning the glass won't interconnect with it?

*** Carried over from Electrapin thread due to off-topic gunking ***

The DMD monitor is behind the wood, which is behind the playfield plastic. The rear glass plastic is screwed into the wood, just below the speaker panel. The glass stops there - it doesn't extend back into the backbox/DMD area (of course, or it'd go through the plastic to get there, which wouldn't be good).

A photo is going to do more than words, so here we go:

The DMD is behind the piece of wood that the rear plastic is screwed to. The playfield glass slides in from the front (with the lockdown bar removed), into the side plastics, and up until it slips into the rear plastic. The mental side rails come up over the sides and cover the side plastics, then the lockdown bar goes on, locking it all in place so people can't screw around with the machine without breaking the glass.

Snooping through photos of real machines on the IPDB site is a big help when you have questions like this. Go look and see what it looks like on a real machine, and you'll probably figure it out on yours.

got it...is the trim just supposed to sit inside the side rails? mine doesn't seem to be very secure in them.

sliding bar has been removed in the latest version

try finding the older winpac software or try an 32bit xp machine
