QUOTE (gear323 @ Sep 12 2011, 08:08 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
As Tipoto has already mentioned, I have been testing this table for some time now. Tipoto is really doing a super job on this table. I never knew VP could look so nice. Worship.gif Even though I have access the table, i'm looking forward to seeing the videos that he is going to post dblthumb.gif

Thanks smile.gif

I'm so sorry because I know that some people are waiting for those videos, I had planned to post them last weekend, but the main video is not ready yet and I don't have the control of it since I can't record it by myself (I don't have a cab at home)... Slydog43, if you are reading this message... Ahahah tongue.gif

I have a 1080p high end Canon video camera if you want me to record it. I can do it today.

UPDATE (videos)!

Sorry for the long time without any updates.
I finally have some videos to show you... The table is still in work in progress of course, so don't be surprised to see some parts non animated yet (lights, bumpers, targets...)

This image shows the progress:

Here are 3 videos... Don't forget to activate the HD please wink.gif

1/ The table running on a cab. A BIG thanks to Slydog43, who did an amazing work on this video:

2/ For this one, I shot one of my small 23" monitors. I'm not happy with the quality because there are some artifacts here and there, but it's a good complementary video beside the Slydog43's one:

3/ I did another quick video with some pictures of my monitor:

Hope you have now a good idea of what the table looks like when it's running wink.gif

Simply Amazing! Any ETA on a possible release date? By all means take your time just wondering if you had a time frame in mind...

As one od the other beta testers, this table is awesome! just a little heads up, its gonna take a pretty beefy system to run smooth. Definitely one of the nicest looking tables! For those who want an idea of system specs I'm running an amd dual core at 3.4ghz, 4 gb ram, 1 gb gts250 highly overclocked, xp, dual monitor cab. I get quite a bit of stutter, especially with all lights flashing and lots of dmd animation going. FPS hover around 200. Also tested on gtx285 stock clock with same or little less fps. Ill probably be upgrading cpu for this table!
Budget Cab Specs: AMD X2 560 O/C to 3.8ghz | GTX560ti 1GB | 16:9 24" PF 1080p | 20.1" 5:4 BG/DMD 1280x1024 | 4GB 1333mhz ram | 550 watt Antec PSU | 500GB 7200rpm HD | Windows 7 64 ultimate | Tilt Bobs for Nudge

Yes the table stutters a little bit on my computer as well when all the lights are flashing in the same time + DMD animation (like when you get extra-ball, Jackpot etc...). I have some ideas to optimize the script, I will try them on the next beta, hopefully the problem will be reduced or fixed...

Any ETA on a possible release date?
I can't say precisely because every time I think that something will take 1 week, it finally takes 2...
On the videos, the version running is the beta 0.42 but I'm already working on the v0.5. the v0.5 and v0.6 will be the 2 last big updates, everything else will be much faster to do.
So I don't know when the table will be 100% done, but I really want to finish it before 2012 wink.gif

Here is the to do list:
- Beta v0.5
With the 3 Flashers close to the skull, the skull eyes, the skull target and the 3 last lights (Timer, Jackpot and ExtraBall).
Left bumper animation.

- Beta v0.6
The last flasher under the plastic ramp (This one will be complicated)
The 2 last bumpers...
3 red Targets in the center of the playfield

- Beta v0.7
All the sounds... I will probably change all of them
Ball texture animated -> I don't think that I will play to much with that because I'm not sure that the effect will look good.

- Beta v0.8
New flippers gameplay (flipper pass, drop catch, live catch etc...)

- Beta 0.8 --> 1.0
Gameplay pass with BFG_Brutal and Gear323

Oh man, that thing is really... what stinks? I mean it is the best... did something die in here? I can't wait to see it... what the heck is that odor? Oh gezz, it appears I crapped my pants on this one. Simply the best graphical masterpiece yet. From the videos it definitely does not look flat and it looks like it runs very smooth. Ok, got to go clean myself.

Is there anyway to release 2 versions of the table?
Perhaps a Hi performance version and a regular version, so people can choose based on there hardware?
I have an i7 930 @ 4.0 GhZ with nvidia GTX 480 so I don't expect to see any slowdowns.
