My name is Damian I have just had my pin cab up and running. I have pinup popper installed and running fine. i have Future pinball and Pinball FX 3 running also ok . I have my solenoids running on both these platforms through doflinx and dof. For the life of me I cannot get Visual pinball X tables to activate my soleoids. I have tried everything no go . . I hope someone can help me .I live in Melbourne Australia for reference.lol

Hi im using
Star Wars Aecade 1up cabinet running dof 3++ from nailbuster ,,,,i am also using dof config tool. Im running pc to run all games Dell optiplex 9020
Im using Sainsboard for solenoids im running windows 10

From the looks of the log it sets up the sainsmart board but can't open/communicate with the serial port. Check what comport it is assigned to in devices and settings and verify that nothing else in the system (hardware or software) is assigned to the same com port.

I checked com ports definitely no conflicting com ports
I dont know what else to check as Future pinball and Pinball fx 3 work with solenoids its baffling me ?

When troubleshooting DOF for VP do not have this (doflinx) program running in the back ground

I cant see the solenoids in comport. i will post directoutput log with doflinx stopped not running . please see below

I have reloaded everything from Doflinx to Dof and all my emulators . I have no issue with Future pinball and Pinball FX3 solenoids work every time .I know they run doflinx and Visual pinball X runs the dof commands through Dof config tool . I have my ports assigned as follows ,Im also using sainsboard 8 port hardware.
Assigned ports through dof port 1 - Left flipper,2 Slingshot L,3 slingshot R,4 Right flipper. Im running just 4 solenoids so easy setup.
I ran dof config tool what i have done i have found the table and edited the ports where needed for eg If it says for Left flipper S45 i have put S1 for my left flipper. I know in doflinx ini it is for eg. left flipper 101 , so im hoping im assigning properly as S1 .
I have created the directoutputconfig40.ini and placed it in config directory with original directoutputconfig.ini. Im assuming thats correct.
My active plugins on backglass is functioning properly and not greyed out. Im at a loss i load table and no solenoids for rg Im playing the adams family table.
I have attached my directoutput log and doflinx log if someone can give me some insight it would be awesome im at a loss now andi have been on this for weeks , its the last piece of my puzzle . I know the guys on here are awesome in working out issues im hoping.

Im assuming its just the directoutputconfig40 ini that dof config tool it gives me should be in the config folder .Am i understanding this correctly ?
