File Name: JP's Friday the 13th

File Submitter: jpsalas

File Submitted: 23 Dec 2021

File Category: VPX Originals

Author(s): jpsalas
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Layout based on Stern Godzilla's layout Pro version.

Thanks to outhere for checking the DOF and updating the DOF website and to arngrim for adding the extra DOF commands, including shaker, beacons at multiball, strobe at Jackpot, RGB Buttons, fixed targets, Soundfx.

Thanks to godisnothere and Chucky (from team jpj) for the directb2s and extra images (wheel, topper).

Thanks to Spring_Jack for sounds and music, and to mrjcrane for all the ideas and tips.

Read the included manual for the rules, as there are many of them :)

The story so far: you are Jason Voorhees and you return to Crystal Lake together with your friends Freddy and Michael, and you find a new teenager camp with teenagers all around the lake and your cabin occupied by the camp counselors. Inside your head you hear your mother's voice, urging you to kill them all. And as a good son, you listen to your mother.

The table is not based on any specific movie, it is just my fantasy. Enjoy

JP

Thanks for the hard work to you and the people who helped you.

I can't wait to try out the table. The wip's were nice bites.

But the overall work is certainly great. Once again typical jpsales style

22.925,000.  Is that a good score?

Incredible work with this JP.. I really love it a lot.   It is very difficult, which I prefer.  I look forward to learning and playing this one a lot.  Thanks for the nice Christmas gift!

Yes, the table is fast which makes it difficult, but the modes (killing counselors) are not very difficult, you just need from 4 to 6 shots, but first you need to select/spot one by shooting the left or right ramp, and then you need to start pursuing him/her by a shot to the scoop. So that's 2 extra shots :) A good thing is that the teenagers die with just one hit :D

YES!  What a work.  Even if someone doesn't care for the Horror aspect, this layout was instantly historic when it was released (some pinheads are saying best layout of all time) and we are privileged to have a beautiful rendition of it's playability.

You can tell JP is now a master of his craft, and I have to say just a stand up person outside of a forum.  Thanks for really being a wonderful representation of this hobby.

this feature is really really hard: police shot me and flippers went dead - OK for me. But stayed dead for the next (3rd) ball as well - too hard of a punishment for my taste ;-)

I know :) Next time you'll be more aware of the police and Tommy Jarvis :D

Remember that you can earn as many extra balls as you can, and as many add-a-balls you can :)

Ar least is predictable when this hurry up starts :)

Very very nice table again JP! You're legend!

I experienced the dead fflippers as makmak did, it's ok, but they are dead for all players - and that's perhaps a little too much :-)

First I have to remember to keep the ball on the playfield at all ;-)

They are dead just for 3 seconds :) It should not disturb the other players.

I was "shot by the police" on ball 1 during multiball.  Flippers went dead all multiballs drained and then ball 2 and ball 3 the flippers stayed dead.  I'm sure they are meant to reset at the end of a ball right?
