Another amazing Elvira themed table thanks to Shoopity, JPSalas, Dozer316, Hauntfreaks and nFozzy.
I've given it a makeover. Insert lights are now done with lights instead of flashers.

The lock is fixed. I changed it to solenoids = 2 late in the game and I didn't notice it not working. Oops. Back to solenoids  = 1 :)

is there anyone having an issue (10.7 Latest Beta published here) - I report here as I realized on the Scared Stiff table recently.

I wanted to report on the10.7 a weird behavior I didn't have on the 10.6 version. It is doing on some (not all) tables like the Scared Stiff below.

Drivers (GTX 1070) are up to date. Behavior is a clear split between the upper part of the playfield and the lower part which is visually more red. Actually it's more a red flickering which is synchronized with one of the flasher. Otherwise it's working without any graphical glitches.

It does on other table too (e.g Tron G5k)

Something must have happened to your video, it is all smashed and distorted like someone crushed the playfield

The table itself seems fine in 10.7 here, do not see any splitting

@wiesshund - video is smashed as I recorded on another screen. It’s perfectly fine on the cabinet itself.
If you check yhe video you will see on the middle of the playfield a res flickering. I posted on vpx 10.7 beta as well where you can see Tron where the issue is even bigger.

Well to be honest, i can not see anything in the video, but that is partly because when i watch it, it comes out smashed into the size of a postage stamp

like a 640x480 square, so i can not see if anything is or isnt going wrong really, sorry.

I just tried it on my desktop PC also which runs maxed video settings
but it could not see anything wrong or different from my laptop, aside from it looking a lot better cause of fsaa and lighting and ambient occlusion etc

I do not have an issue in either of the Tron tables either, but i am not sure i have the same table you do

The lights are brighter in 10.7 compared to 10.6, so when the red lights turn on it may look a little more red than before.

I turned on all the lights and here you can see the difference between 10.6 and 10.7, although no red shade, but you see the difference between the lights:

Thanks for checking on this. I put a better image to show you what's going on. What is surprising is I didn't put any max out in any setting and it still shows this effect. The effect has you can see is a shift across the playfield (and not around the light as it diffuses).

I have no idea why it is doing that on your machine, it looks weird

What do your VPX vid prefs look like? though i cant think of anything off hand that would do that but

I'm in holidays for the next 2 weeks - however I tried various video setting in VPX from PERFORMANCE to QUALITY and it didn't change anything.

My standard setting has been:

  • FXAA quality
  • Ambient occlusion : Enable checked and Update in Game checked
  • FPS limiter : 0
  • Force anisotropic filtering:  checked
  • Max texture : unlimited
  • Element details : quality (to the right)

I tried w/ Ambient occlusion and anisotropic filtering without any success.

I had a ball loss in the crate twice during terror of the crate multiball. One ball is gone (some weird ball rolling sound playing endlessly). If the other ball drains, its still rolling somewhere in the crate ;-), had to kill game then. (playing in 10.7, rev213)

I confirm I have an issue with the table - red shift like I've posted.

After further investigations it's coming from the LAYER1 and AMBIENTCOL (6 lamps). I tried to play with the opacity and it's better however it still shows (while reduced) the same issue as I posted above.
