    I recently started using the 10.7 beta and I’ve not been able to find the slider that I used to use in 10.6. In camera view..or whatever it’s called now, I can see there’s a parameter called environmental emissions which seems to affect the brightness. Is that how we do it now?...or is that slider hiding somewhere?

unless you mean night/day cycle?

It is there in the 'User' tab of the table properties... the interface appears to be still a little buggy, so you need to make the VP window full screen to see it. This area is missing the vertical scrollbar if the content doesn't fit.

Hopefully it will get fixed in the official release.

I have my lat and lon set, so it changes by time of day
kind of neat

recently upgraded to 10.7 and noticed all the tables are really dark so happy to find this thread.

Unfortunately I cannot seem to locate the USER tab of table properties anywhere. (in full screen)

Can somebody point me in the direction of where to exactly look?

I must be the dumbest person ever.  Using VP10.6.

 

I cannot, for the life of me figure out where the day night slider is located.  Can anyone give a step by step?

Under User Customizations, make sure you do not have any element on the table selected.

  As Weis said…it’s in the editor. If you esc out of a table, you’ll see the editor underneath the launchable table. Close the table out leaving the editor on screen. Then go to file and run a table…it will load the table , but not launch. Then you can click the table backglass in the editor and find the slider

I think you need to maximize table script to make night/day cycle slider to show up on vp10.7
