This most excellent table from freneticamnesic and Hanibal is a blast!

Where has discussion about ball rolling sounds gone? Did you fix it and updated somehow or is this the same version in a different category? Confused...

I really want to play this table past the Replay value! The ROM just crashes at that point.

I have tried the AT91JIT on/off  "fix", no luck.

Is there anything else i can try?

Where exactly does it crash and is there any error message you are getting?

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

When I hit the 20mil replay value, as soon as the transporter animation starts up the whole thing crashes. no crash codes that come up, just nothing. Much like the POTC table (Still can't play that past defeating the Kraken animation).

Same problem as Neophyte. It just freezes. The table and the DMD. Even the keys to exit VPX to working. The only way to exit is to CTRL + ALT + DEL

Regarding the crash, since you mention POTC, there is a known bug when using VPinMame with FreezyDMD for these table (World Poker Tour as well) on specific images (extraball anim for POTC). It may be the same here. This bug will need a VPinMame or FreezyDMD upgrade which is not available right now and needs further analyze. For the time being, a way to play past these problematic frames is to activate DMD coloring in VPinMame options for the table ROM. If you happen to try, please tell us if it solves the problem. Thx

Thanks for all the comments guys, I found the issue. When setting everything up months ago for Pinup Player I followed TerryReds walkthrough and missed the SAMBuild VPINMAME install.

Everything works great including colored ROMs now!

This pinball is great, thank you Bigus1 for this update, but I have a noisy issue with the kickback2 object (the leftmost lane plunger).

It is continuously firing even when the ball is not there, my question is:

is that something about my cabinet configuration or is that related to the pinball itself?

Have a great day.

Massimo

Hi bigus1,

I fixed the issue of the kickback2 plunger object.

Attached to this message you can find the script adjusted to remove the issue.

You can simply substitute your script with this one, or alternatively, you can remove any code line that refers to the kickback2 object and insert in your script the lines between two lines that contain the  "##################### Pmax65" keyword.(quote excluded of course).

The solution to the issue was in continuously pulling back the plunger every 10ms when it's deactivated by the controller.

It seems that keeping the plunger pulled back without reasserting the command, the plunger returns periodically to the full extended position and sweeps back to the full retracted position. Maybe that it's something thought to allow the desktop players to launch the ball with a lesser force in case of over-pulling with the keyboard control.

There are other tables that have this same issue, but it was less evident because the plunger was mostly hidden the aprons, I should investigate which they are.

Thank you again for your time spent on this nice table.

Have a great day.

Massimo
