World Poker Tour for Visual Pinball Physmod 5 doesn't work on my PC. Every time I tried to play the Table, I get two Errors, the first one pertaining to Line 83, then another one pertaining to Line 1917, something about a Controller being required.

I have PinMAME installed, and almost all other Tables work very well, but not this one. Can anyone help me? I have the Table in the Tables directory, the ROM in the Roms Folder, but the Table still refuses to work.

I heard from somewhere that it had something to do with Fast Flips, but I can't find it in the Script itself. I feel utterly lost. I'm asking here because I can't seem to find a Support Topic for World Poker Tour here, but maybe that's because it's a Physmod 5 Table, something that isn't easy to get here due to not having its own Category.

I downloaded Fren''s version 1.1, started it and no problems playing. Are you using the wpt_140a rom?

I used the Physmod 5 EXE. I believe the ROM to load is set to Version 1.40.

Most probably, you have polluted your install with a old vbs file. Take all the *.vbs files you find in tables folder and in users folder and move then into the scripts folder. Then download 10.7beta and only take the files that are in the scripts folder for that archive and overwrite all the ones you now got in scripts folder.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Are you using a SamBuild version of PinMAME?

Line 1 errors are often a bit hard to debug in that it is a general failure where vp doesn't tell you where the issue is originating from. Of course, if line 1 is valid ;)

Are you using a SamBuild version of PinMAME?

No. I wasn't even aware that SAMbuild was needed to run some of the Physmod 5 Tables. How will I download and use that for just this Table?

Just google SamBuild PinMAME and get the latest version. I know at some point this was required to run SAM tables which WPT is though I don't know if that's still the case.

If you're stuck you might try the VPX version.

Found the problem, I had 3 VBS Script files in the tables folder & I removed them 1 at a time & It worked after I removed the Core VBS File. Table plays fine now.  :)

@clyde - do what I said above - don't fiddle around with vbs like that. It is essential that you run all the latest versions. https://www.vpforums...=45165&p=458320

And, sambuild isn't really needed for this table. Yes, if you want color for the dmd - then it is. This machine has been supported for a long time already so you have to have a pretty old vpm not to support it. But, then again. It doesn't hurt to run a new one either.

I recently looked, and the Scripts are all in the Scripts folder, too, even the sam Script file. I simply don't know why it refuses to work despite all the files being in the appropriate directories.

I'll try SAMBuild and see if that works tomorrow, unless there is another solution?

I would use VPX, but it sadly lags for me, even if I tone down all the settings.

Are those lines looking for a backglass? What happens if you comment those lines out (put a ' in front of the line)?

Who built that one? Is there a support thread?
