Blade Runner 2049 v2.0 marks a major upgrade from previous versions. I originally produced this table mod when I was very new at doing anything with VPX. So I wanted to do a revisit of this table and upgrade major elements that I wasn't fully happy with in my original design. 

The Upgrades are as follows:
• All new 3D assets and revisions to previous 3D assets.
• Complete overhaul of lighting and adjustment to visuals
• Animated Vid screens througout the cityscape.
• Polish and fix to some of the Audio
• Complete overhaul of the DMD for better readability.
• Apron now includes score field to house the DMD (additional no score Apron provided)
• Added some of JP's new 3.0 Physics settings for better ball control
• Fixed various issues with elements in the table build that weren't properly aligned

As with all my MOD designs: I have a single screen table so I prefer to have the DMD display on the Playfield or on the Apron.
I have provided an additional NO SCORE Apron/Plastics setup for those that want to move the DMD to another area.
This will require some knowledge of how to make adjustments in Visual Pinball. 
Select the Apron in VPX and under options change the image to: "BR2049_plastics_noScore.png"
The DMD was designed by JP for his Pokemon table so I'm not sure how to get the DMD to display in various second screen or Dedicated DMD screen setups. Look to the forums for assistance in this matter as I am unfortunately unable to assist with any DMD configurations.

I created this update to celebrate surpassing 4k downloads with this table. I had no idea the table would reach that many players when I designed it.

Hey Mark, really great job on this! Awesome theme, beautiful colors and art design, great choice of music and sound effects (including earth shaking bass  ). I saw the collection of backglass images you linked to, it would be a shame to let them go to waste, you should hit up @STAT to help you make a changing B2S backglas à la his Diablo  . Really nice work overall, thanks for making this mod and thanks again to JP Salas for the original this is based on!

Thanks! This was about a month's worth of work while i'm locked up at home (as are most of us) because of C19. It was a great learning project and it helped me keep my mind off of the news.

I'm about to post another of my re-skins in the WIP page. "Ghostbusters"
JP will probably kill me for MODing all his tables But I wanted a version of the Stern Ghostbusters table so I did a MOD of his "Slimer" table to include the Stern Art.

Mark, thanks for the update, looking great. The included fullscreen POV appears a bit squashed by the recent changes (sidewalls?). Here is my slightly altered POV to fit the cab correctly:

Did anyone get Flex DMD working on version 1.2.2?  I tried the script on Github (Pokeyman) and it does not work on the new version.  Still running 1.1. Any help would be appreciated.

WOW, I almost missed this update in the barrage of uploads today. The v2.0 is an amazing upgrade, you've really taken the Blade Runner theme to a whole new level. You're an great artist Mark, despite being classified as "mods" all your creations feel unique and each has its own distinctive atmosphere, top notch quality all around, love your stuff!

Bad sff working in my case in this table...no sounds from front panel...all sounds from exciters and it's a caos.

Ha!  I was gonna play this today anyway, but just checked and yeah, he just kept the pokeballs code xD

 

I went ahead and commented out (add an apostrophe at the beginning of the line) lines 3021-3026 and lines 3037-3044.  This is the code that upgrades the pokeball in the original table.

 

Then in the editor sidebar under "Visuals", you can change the "Ball Image" and "Decal".  Set Image to none and Decal to JPBall-Scratches, or whatever images you want to use

Blade Runner 2049 SSF tuned.

I adjusted this table to be SSF users friendly. Author is not interested in the updated, so I'll share it to who is interested.

No, he doesn't want to ask questions or support anything for the SSF update, so I'll control it on my own.
This thread is only for the Author release and his eventually updates.

please fix the ssf sound and the dmd extension for 3 monitors , i tried to fix but the code is a mess mate, also the pokemon ball is distracting too much , sorry for the whinning but this was already ask on other version :0) , at least point the rigth script to end user fix ,thanks
