In cab use comment out lines 72 - 76, definition errors let the table crash.

For cab use I changed the view:

For another finding I have no solution: When the table starts the 1st time (after powing up the PC), the D2BS Server crashes, the 2nd time (and on) started the table starts and plays as it should be. I have the same behaviour on my two systems (Lab & Cab).

In cab use comment out lines 72 - 76, definition errors let the table crash.

Alternatively, select all elements in the backglass, go to the Collection Manager, select "Create from Selection", and rename the collection "DesktopItems".

Also, move or delete all decals, otherwise they're still on the screen.

For another finding I have no solution: When the table starts the 1st time (after powing up the PC), the D2BS Server crashes

The reason for this is that the backglass loads two times.

In the "table1_init" sub, comment this line out:

Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")

While it's great to have this game as VPX version, something has to be done with the choppy Spinning Posts animation.

I tried a primitive, but when the posts go to the left, the primitive goes to the right, and vice versa.

Also, the primitives goes sometimes to another position, even when the targets aren't hit.

Has anybody an idea what can be done here?

Here are two wheels. One in Tarcisio's style and one ugly with only the logo for Thalamus. :tongue3:

Hi Albert, thank you for your readyness to help and the hint. Unfortunately it does not change anything.

Thank You for this table Kees. I play in cabinet mode and have found a player light issue with the backglass. When playing more than 1 player, the 1up player light is lit on that player's first ball, after that ball drains and other players turn, when it's time again for 1up player's turn, the 1up light does not light back up, it stays lit on the previous player. The lights for the other players work fine, only first player light has this issue. Thanks again, your work is much appreciated.

Looks like you updated to version 1.01, but the only version available to download is file version 1.00.

Looks like somebody also marked download as broken for this very reason.

No if it was waiting for approval, I wouldn't be able to download the old version.

I found another bugs which I can't solve now.
You have to wait at least 3 seconds before the B2S glass is fully initialized and ready to use.

Another bug is the player scores aren't updated after loading the high scores.

The current player lamps above the reels works correctly here.

My screens are 1920*1080 and 1280*1024 and use only desptop mode.

At fullscreen, I don't pay much attention, but is easy to optimze for cab users.

At the moment I make the tables fully by myself (except for some graphic resources and some parts of the script), even the direct2BS files I make it by myself, but help from others is always appreciated.

with kind regards,

-=Kees=-

Thanks for the Fix and Update, will test and Play it tonight now

Here is my optimized FS POV ... see ZIP below.

And got an Error, DesktopItems: Looks like you havent defined that Collection, i only deleted the "DesktopItems Check" / moved Items out ( i Play on Cab/FS ),
then all was fine ... i think, you should add a Group/Collection "DesktopItems" and set all Backdrop Items to that.

Nice Release, thanks Kees !

You gave me a good idea. In my next pinball tables I have made a new block in the script with "ShowDT".

So far all the backbox items, except decals, can be disabled.
The only problem left are the bumper lights (halo lights above the playfield) and the ball plunger, which shows a bit wrong perspective.

with kind regards,

-=Kees=-

thanks

quick note

if you remove line 141

B2SOn=True

then you will able to enable and disable the dB2s automatically

using the disable dB2s in your key config page

NOTE!!!!!   I did not fully test to see that everything works.  I just got the table to load with and without the dB2s active

Kees, thanks for the 1.11 update!  The table looks great and plays well, but I think there is one small error in gameplay...  From what I remember from my machine and from watching a few youtube videos (I am old, so the memory needs help! LOL!) the left and right jet bumpers were lit by hitting the lowest of the 4 yellow targets on each side (the "Heart" card, I think).  The VPX table right now lights the jet bumper when any of the yellow targets on that side get hit.  Not a big deal at all, just  thought I would mention it in case it is an easy fix...

Thank you again for making this table!!!
