My favourite things to do by my self are play pinball/arcade games, play video games or work on my cars. I have A.D.D. which for me basically translates to I need to have my mind occupied by something. After a hard days work I want to sit on my deck in the sun and have a relaxing beer but cant just sit there. Do you guys have any hobby ideas or simple games that I could play to relax but keep my mind occupied? Solitaire is the most obvious one but not my thing.

Teach yourself how to make tables and I can assure you - you will have something to do while it fits your other hobbies ;)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Do you guys have any hobby ideas or simple games that I could play to relax but keep my mind occupied? Solitaire is the most obvious one but not my thing.

Hookers and Blackjack
But that becomes a bit costly, and then there is the health hazard and lack of product quality.

D&D with strippers is generally more entertaining, and cheaper.

Cooking (and learning to make new recipes) is also a cool option. You do need to eat, anyway (source: elementary school Health Class).

I really enjoyed building and flying model airplanes. In the 90's built and flew control line Precision Aerobatics (ie, stunt) competitively. Got a lot of satisfaction both from building models from plans, and then flying them in competitions.

Made a whole bunch of friends as well.

Well, Hookers & Blow sounds pretty good ...

For me ... years-ago R/C fuel-engine airplanes at AMA-Field.

Now-days, electric drones with Pixhawk flight-controllers and similar.

I also like Home Theater and Home Automation.

Although, now that I have an actual Virtual-Pinball cabinet ... this is like a whole new hobby for me.

Bit late to the party here but together with PC gaming, i have also grown carnivorous plants for over a decade, two bathtubs in my back garden.

Indulging in pinball and arcade games is a nostalgic journey back to classic entertainment. The flickering lights, exciting sounds, and the challenge of hitting that high score create an immersive experience. It's not just a game; it's a timeless escape that connects generations. Let the games begin.

I agree :D

Keeping some house plants, gardening, walking in the nature, mushroom hunting, picking berries, spending time at summer cottage, reading, music, praying and playing pinballs.
