Standalone DLL and Setup.exe, changelog, and other updated docs

Installation:
Simply copy all of the files in the ZIP into your already existing Visual PinMAME directory. Overwrite already existing files there when asked.

Run Setup.exe and press the 'Install' button. Also you may want to press the 'Setup Defaults' button to tweak the new options, like sound mode or the new scaling factor, for example.

NOTE: If you use an external hardware display/DMD (Pin-2-DMD/PinDMD1/2/3), copy the respective files from the included subdirectories into the main directory to be able to use it.
So no more need for separate builds like it was the case with release 2.7 and before!

NOTE2: In addition this also includes freezys new DMDext, which is still considered experimental for now, but can be used to universally drive external hardware displays/DMDs AND also provides a better windowed DMD/alphanumeric display for all desktop users!
To use it, also copy the respective files from the included subdirectory DMDext into the main directory and select 'external DMD' in the VPM options/defaults.

When I update to this version I get a lot of shutter in all tables, is there anything I can do to fix it?

I decided to update since I was reading a little about PinSound and VP ..would be pretty awesome to try some of the user reorchestrations.

In PinMAME I just changed the Sound Mode to 1 for the ROM I was testing this for .. TFTC for this test, then just made a folder under PinMAME called altsound and in that folder the name of the ROM as a folder. So for TFTC .. I used PinMAME/altsound/tftc_303  and in that rom folder I put the extracted files from the Pinsound downloaded sound files.

You devs are awesome and your work is very much appreciated!

 Works perfect, thanks very much :D

In the script, change

'.ShowDMDOnly = 1

to

.ShowDMDOnly = 1

It may sound silly and usually it is not a question at all, but Is it recommended to install the 64bit Version on a 64bit Windows?

I believe to remember that it was not recommended in a previous version.   :hmm:

You can basically install both at the same time without issues. Then the corresponding application will use the correct variant automatically.

But at the moment there is no application that uses the 64bit variant (VPX could do if compiled for 64bit, but all the other stuff mostly only exists as 32bit).

So the 64bit variant is actually for future use.
Thank you very much for clarifying.

Yup. By now we could have VPX and B2S as 64bit versions, as both already work. But there is also no real benefit so far.
