While Noah has been busy with the new site and with other things, I started work on this a little out of the blue!
This was one of the first tables I ever played back when I was a kid, so I'm excited to get a nice quality table out there for it.
Noah has some good things in the works for the lighting and we have a few ideas on how to make the gun look awesome (the big block there is just a placeholder for size reference).

I think we are set for the most part on resources, however if there are any owners out there, speak up! You never know when we might need something.

Enjoy! biggrin.gif

Very nice surprise!! I thought you were doing WW(cant wait for that also BTW smile.gif ) I however must say that T2 definitely needs an update far more than WW does. Cant wait, your guy's table(s) are quickly becoming favorites of mine and you've only done 1 together. Thank you guys so much for your continued work!!

WH20 was/is technically next (along with Silverball Mania), however Noah really wanted to do the layout for that one, so I have been a little stuck with nothing to do because he has been wearing so many different hats around here with the server move, table releases, plus I keep throwing new builds at him biggrin.gif.

I dont have too much experience with Whitewater anyway, so it will be nice for him to get the layout going first. T2 figured to be a quick table because it is SO similar to Getaway, plus it has far less going on compared to WH20. There are a lot of tables we have talked about doing together... I'd like to get a Whirlwind going, we'd both like to see a new Diner, a new Monopoly... hell there are just too many.

BTW, there is not a 16:9 version in the works at this time, but I dont see a lot of issues converting this one as there should only be a few reels/decals.

I've been wondering when someone was going to make a new version of T2. The progress is looking great. I like playing this table as much as I like watching the movie again and again & ... laugh.gif

Looks great, this is also one of my favorite pins. Please, please, please, though could someone think about making a 16:9 Spanned version of this game. While there are some good classic games in the spanned selection, T2 is noticable by its absence. Guess once this one is done I could have a go at the conversion myself, but it might be a bit of an abortion, lol.

Over at the HyperSpin forums you can see a T2 Full screen version that was made a little while ago. The authors like unclewilly, el_timbo among others usually are fairly quick in converting 4:3 tables to Full Screen versions anyways. Me I'm happy that 4:3 versions are still getting the love because IMO most of us pinball players don't have a cab to play the 16:9 versions in.

Lots of ramp-work has been done here! Just a few more layout pieces to place before we move on to the gun animation and the rest of the pretty stuff wink.gif

Thanks for sharing the progress UncleReamus! smile.gif

While you're busy building this fantastic table I got a Cabinet saved from the 'scrap yard' which I'm planning to use for my future VP Cabinet .. here's a first pic.
after taking off the white paint (it was completely painted white) ..

Your Table & my Cabinet could well be Good Friends! wink.gif

Cheers,
FD.

Looks GREAT!

Are the ramp rings a little too big or is it my imagination?

Class!!! cool.gif

Now i remembered my thesis for the university...i wanted to make an interactive sound synthesis system which would connect various targets/gates/triggers on a pinball, with a laptop running a real time music programming language..the system would have the ability to make an electroacoustic composition according with the playing style of each player...so, every player would make a unique soundtrack for the table by just..playing pinball. Unfortunately this project needed a lot of money and various professors to assist me, so it was rejected..(with the good meaning anyway)
