Bad Cats 4:3 VP9

Version: 1.1
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): unclewilly

Description:
Bad Cats (Williams 1989)4:3 Version of my Bad Cats recreation for VP9
Bad Cats (Williams 1989) 4:3 Version
Ok, this is my first vp table built from scratch. Resources compiled by JP Salas, Black, and unclewilly.
Table built and scripted by unclewilly. Some of the script is based on jp's and all the previous releases of this table. Kingb33 did the gion playfield texture.

I originally built this table in FS view because I play vp in a pinball cabinet. I hope the backdrop and viewing angle is acceptable to the users.

Just a note. This table is not as easy as the previous versions. I used the standard vp9 physics settings and adjusted it so all the shots are makeable. I thought the ease of play of the previous releases of the table was not true to the real table. It is fast and a drain monster, so it will be challenging to the player rather than just an easy old ss.

Please report any errors or suggestions for the table and i'll do my best to correct or modify things as i see fit.

I hope you enjoy it

-unclewilly

Updated to v1.1
-updated all the physics, so it plays close to the real table
-updated sounds and table ogjects
-Added the backglass animation

That one is going to take a lot of work. I have to redoo all the building flashers on the sides of the table to get them back at the appropriate viewing angles. I'll work on it in my spare time, right now i'm focusing on a night mod of Groni's TSPP. and i'd like to build another table from scratch. Any suggestions for a table to build are appreciated.

A rebuild of a Champion Pub would be very much appreciated by many! smile.gif
The Sopranos, CV, Scared Stiff, Rocky & Bullwinkle or Monopoly would also be very nice .. if I may ask wink.gif

Cheers,
FD.

ps el_timbo86 => That Dirty Harry is coming along more than nice!

Thanks for the 4:3 conversion unclewilly, when I saw the cabinet build I was hoping you'd be kind and treat us to this adaptation. Plays as hard as you forewarned which is just fine with me.

Looking forward to a possible Flintstones 4:3, but no hurry, this shall keep me fully entrenched in the doghouse for a good while.

Hi!

I'm trying to play "Bad Cats" 4:3 version 1.1, it brings up an error saying "Active X component can't create object" "VBScript Vpinmame version 01560000 required", "S11.VBS ver 3.26 or higher required" I have those scripts in my folder. "Script Error Line 0 Object required: 'controller'". Can you help me with this. I am using visual pinball 9.0.7 version. Thanks smile.gif

it sounds like you don't have the newest version of pinmame installed

Hi!

I have vpinmame 2.2 installed. Is that the latest version, or would I have to enable all scripting in the internet options or scriptlets.

I got this error message too when I tried to run the table in a window, no error message when it runs in fullscreen

VP and scripts are up to date

are you guys playing in windowed or fs. I'm not really sure what's going on with this. I need to figure out how to reproduce the error to fix it
