The Simpsons Pinball Party - Megapin - V1.2

Version: 1.2.0
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): Megapin

Description:
Stern - The Simpsons Pinball Party
Stern - The Simpsons Pinball Party V.1.2

Changes from 1.1>1.2
Optimized File Size and Performance.
Fixed Lock Bug thats happens through Alien Invasion
New Physics
New Slingshots
Some new Graphics and Colors on Objects
Misc Fixes.

Changes in V. 1.1

Optimized for Visual Pinball V.9.0.3
Ball Decals back again
Ball Lock Couch displays the Balls correct now
New Sounds
Optimized Backdrop
Better Gameplay
Some little Fixes

Features:

CTR Physics
CTR Sound Engine
Fading Lights
Fullscreen Rulesheet
Multi Color TV
Different Rom Languages

To use the Rules press "R". To Quit the Rules, just hit "SPACE/Frontnudge"

One Bug that cannot be fixed, cause of a Bug in VP9 is the Couch Lock. The Balls do not look
one after each other on the couch. VP9 draws the last locked ball always on top. I have found
no way to fix this. But its only a visible Bug and no mechanical bug, so i guess we all can live
with that.

Special Thanks to JP for adding the Tower Animation and helping me with Script Problems.

Now Enjoy the Pin

You could change the ball image to transparent or destroy it, and use a reel or flipbook wall in that spot showing all the locked balls correctly, then change the image back when the ball when the ball hits a trigger / create it again when they are released. How you do it depends on the transparency of the ball, I would imagine.

Just a thought.

The table plays perfectly, and it looks even better!

Thanks, GRONI!

Groni your table is amazing it plays just like the real thing thanks alot. I only have one problem and it's an easy fix but i can't do it, the right flipper doesn't seem to have as much power as the left flipper, maybe it's just me but i would like you to take a look at it or someone else and see what i mean. Other then that i will be playing alot of your game. Now i can't wait for your Twilight Zone and No Good Gophers and then i will be a very happy person. Thank you for what you do you, JP,Tab, and a couple of others are doing an awsome job with these tables, I feel like i'm back in the Arcades again. Thanks for all the fun and what you and the others do. Dave P.

Help!
I cannot download this table...well I can download the file, but when I try to extract it it says the file is corrupt (the Rules-TSPP.exe extracts ok).
Tried downloading it twice with the same result.

Any suggestions? I'd love to play this.

Regards,
Dan.

Just tried it again. Worked fine.

What are you using to decompress the .rar?

Just tried it again myself...and it failed again :-(

Using WinRar (v3.10) to decompress.
