Gerrit will check them out - it looks like the CPU roms are identical to the working copy we have now - but I won't be able to test the sound roms without Gerrit's help for the driver.  I'll let you know when I hear back from him.

For Mr. Doom -- We're unable to make progress on emulating the Recel games until we have a complete copy of the PPS-4 base roms.  One of those chips has never been read out, so the emulation has been on hold for them.

From Gerrit --

"But the first task would be to try and dump both chips' ROMs -

from A2361 and A2362. I don't know which chip has been dumped to
get to the data we have now, so probably we would need to read them
out both. :/"

If you can obtain reads of those two chips then we would have a chance of getting those games all working.

Destruk I have said to one person and he say me that if it,s possible to dump those chips but first it needs to know the real reference of those two chips because A2361 and A2362 are references of Recel to refer to them.If we get the real reference of those chips,we can look for the datasheet and of this way it,s more easy dump them.Take a look to the reply that person have gave to me, you understand better:

http://petacos.forum...701562#lastpost

A friend me has a Mr Doom pinball,I hope that he can to get first the real reference of the chips and then anyone can to dump them. But only will can dump the part of the ROM of each chip, the RAM will lost when cut the supply power.

We will do all the possible to get the dumps but we don´t promise nothing.

Destruk we have good and bad news about dump the chips of system III.

Good new:

A friend me can to built a reader to read the rom of the two chips

Bad new:

He need to get a chip A2361 or A2362 to he can do all tests need but the chip have to be of any refill or of any pinball that use a board system III but doesn´t work.

He doens´t want to work with chips  A2361 or A2362 of a pinball that works because if by any issue he hurt the chip the responsability would be only of him and that it,s he doesn´t want.

He can do test and get a reader to read the roms of those chips but he need a chip to do test if not he can´t do nothing.

If you or anyone can to get him a chip A2361 or A2162 of any refill would be perfect and he can do test with it and after design and built a reader to read the roms.

If the pinball machine doesn't work, how will he know if the chip reads are good?
