JP Pirates LW B2S

Version: 1.0.5
Category: VP 9.x B2S Cabinet Tables (B2S)

Author(s): JPSalas, Rosve, gStav, sast05

Description:
B2S version of JPSalas"Pirates: Wolves of the sea 1.05"
------------------------------------------------------------------
Updated 15 Mar 2012
- See the original release thread to find what has been changed, http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?automodu...l&f_id=6259

-------------------------------------------------
Update, The first upload was by mistake not the final release. Here is the correct file.

Before playing this table copy the following files to your tables folder,

JP_Pirates_FS_LW_B2S.vpt
JP_Pirates_FS_LW_B2S.exe
B2S.vbs (if not already exists)
LedWizToolbox.vbs
ScreenRes.txt (if not already exists)

The table has a number of extra features that can be enabled by editing the "Global Performance Settings" at the top of the script.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- LedWActive=0 --> Set to 1 if you have a Led-Wiz board connected.
- FullBackglassFX=0 --> If changed to 1, more backglass action is performed. Requires a powerful PC.
- LWMaxBallsOnPF=1 --> Set how many balls in play before reducing the amount of LedWiz flashing (to reduce the risk for stuttering)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Led-Wiz Users: Please read the "How to setup Ledwiz support" text file included in the download.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Three Screen Cabs
----------------------
The B2S backglass is by default set to a 2-screen layout.
3-screen users can move the Led display to the 3rd screen by adding X-size, Y-size, X-offset, Y-offset in the ScreenRes file.
The X and Y offsets are relative the top/left corner of the selected backglass display. The grill is automatically removed when the Led display is moved.
For Pin2K style cabs it is possible to vertically flip the led display.

Please use the B2S_Setup tool to edit the ScreenRes file --> Link to ScreenRes Editor

A backglass image for HP is included in the download.

Thanks to:
- JPSalas for a great table
- gSTAV for adding the Led-Wiz actions.
- luvthatapex for testing the movable led display.

Line 6 is trying to load the ledwiztoolbox.vbs, make sure you have that file in the same directory as the table.

Line 1873 is the load high score routin. Haven't changed anything there.

Thanks Rosve!! Great BG. Tried to enable the more active BG but got some stutter so switched to the regular one which runs great with no stutter. Didn't see that much of a difference between them except the skull appears during gameplay with the more active one. Fantastic Job!

Try to set LaunchBackGlass "JP_Pirates_FS_LW_B2S", true to false

There are no differences exept when the LWMaxBallsOnPF=1 you will disable some of the flashers when you get multiball action due to stutter. coffee1.gif

Thanks rosve. Really nice atmospheric bacgkglass design which really compliments JPs superb table nicely. Thanks also for the 3-screen option. My dmd monitor is screen 2 and BG is 3 and worked perfectly.

Thanks Rosve,

The flipped screen works perfectly on my pin2k. Here is a shot for you and JP. I will test the LEDWIZ effects next, but wanted to ensure all was well before turning on the flashers.
I also like the skull and crossbones screen when the ball drains! Nice touch.

I just checked and you are right, it seems I uploded the wrong file. No problem, it's only missing the backglass image. Here it is.

The correct file will be uploded in a couple of minutes.

I think that there are some small changes compared to the previous upload but nothing really important.

I'm getting the same error on this. I have disabled LedWiz, LedWActive=0.

The first error is regarding, ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile("LedWizToolBox.vbs"). Do we still need the ledwiztoolbox.vbs even if we aren't using the LedWiz settings?

Yes you do need to copy the LedWiz file to your harddrive even if you have it disabled.

Yes, there are many calls to ledwiztoolbox functions in the table script.
